The division was just lost 10 seconds ago

Dallas has to win out and get help to win the division. That is a tall task and puts us(me) in a pickle on who to root for next week between SF/Philthy. Do we want Philly as the #1 seed to keep SF from getting it? It would be bad if SF gets #1 while Philly still wins the division.

Realistically, Dallas can pull even with the Eagles in two weeks both at 10-3. But, common opponents will be a problem since Philly won tonight and Dallas still has to win out. Quite the quandary…..

We essentially have to win out… maybe one more loss. With our schedule gonna be tough to do.the last 2 weeks of the year for us are literally gonna mean nothing.

But again if we lock ourselves into the 5 seed we most likely get the perceived easiest game in the divisional round. The falcons saints or bucs.

Then it’s onto sf who we know. And then it would be Philly. So it not out of the realm we can make a run. Just gotta lock in the 5 seed

The path if we don't win the division is: 5th seed beat the brakes off of NFC South winner. Hope that there are no upsets in the 1st round. Go to Philly as 5th seed and Detroit/SF in other divisional matchup. If there is an upset in the 1st round which is screaming to be Detroit losing to whoever they play then we will have to go to SF again like last year and Philly plays some garbage team like Seattle or Minnesota.
