Dallas did it. Beat the defending champion Seahawks. Got it out of the way and can move on.

The Eagles and Giants? Not yet.

Despite their loss to Dallas, the Seahawks still remain a very formidable team indeed, and should be favored against both PHI and NYG. This will be critical later on in the season when tiebreakers loom large. If Dallas is 1-0 against Seattle and the Eagles and Giants are both 0-1 against Seattle, that would make a big difference in common-opponents tiebreaking.

Not to mention, of course, that losing to Seattle would knock the Eagles and Giants down a peg in the win-loss standings.

Seahawks can be had more easily on the road, and it doesn't matter anyway. The Seahawks win was great, but their main objective is to win the division games.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say neither pulls that game out. Seattle has to realise that they are now behind Arizona, and cant lose any more if they want to stay in the running for the playoffs. I know its still early in the year, but this is the time you have to make the bed you lie in come December.

Seattle is not as good on the road, the Eagles game will most likely be close. Giants should lose up there. Would be nice to see the Seahawks take both, enemy of my enemy and all that.

Seattle may not be quite as good on the road, but they are still pretty formidable. They don't fall off the face of the earth on the road like New Orleans does. I think their physical defense will eventually control the Eagles o-line. I think the Seahawks will win, but it will be a competitive game.

The Giants? No chance.

Ooooh yes. Hadn't thought about that. Can't wait.

Eagles get them on the road? Man. How does that always seem to happen with that stupid team. Doesn't it always seem like they're getting breaks? Either scheduling or with the in-game penalties. I hate them.

I guess we can't really complain, though, since we get the Thursday Thanksgiving game every year.

The GMen will likely really struggle against them. In a real bad way.

The Eagles I think will give them a game. I still think the Hawks get the W there though.

It does kind of seem like all of their big games at home, but I have absolutely no actual data to back that up lol

Preach, I was hoping it was flipped and the Eagles had to go up to Seattle cause I don't think the Giants would put up a fight even at home, blowouts either way. Philly will make it tough at home against the Seahawks. I am rooting for the Seahawks winning both of course.

YES THEY ARE! They should be going to Seattle, and Seattle should have come here. Last year, they played Arizona at home, after Arizona had a road Monday night game. Total BS. Plus, last year, a key starter always seemed to get hurt the week before playing the Iggles.

They make me sick.

It's safe to assume that if you think so, and I think so, then it's got to be happening. Stupid Eagles.

I do hate that they've gotten to 5-1 with their ST (until this week) outscoring their offense. Because you just know at some point that stupid Kelly offense is going to get it together and they're going to be more formidable than the very beatable team they've looked like the last few weeks. Let's just hope that happens after we've played them both times here, coming up.

See? This is too much evidence to just ignore. We ought to complain to the league.

I do like how much of a kid-brother complex their fans have when it comes to the Cowboys. They want so much to believe that we're not for real, because they thought all along this was going to be their cake walk. :)

I hate that the Eagles are tied with us.I think we are a better team than they are right now though. They have gotten several lucky breaks in their wins. They have a tougher schedule than us from here on out too. @ Cardinals @ Packers @ Texans vs Seattle, etc. I think if we continue to play the way we played Seattle that the division is ours. I"m starting to keep more of an eye on the whole NFC because we have a chance to win that too. Teams like the Cardinals, 49'ers, and Seattle all have very tough games left and some against each other. It's early but man I'm starting to get more optimistic every week.

Yeah, I hate how the Eagles should be 3-3 but aren't.

When the NFC East plays the NFC West again in 3 years, all the homes games will be reversed.

Remember 3 years ago, we beat SF in their house with Romo fracturing a rib and Jesse Holley being the hero. We beat Seattle at home before they became a league power. Garrett froze his own kicker in Arizona and Murray ran wild on the Rams in Dallas.

When you play division vs. division, home games are all pre-set.
