Yeah, I hate how the Eagles should be 3-3 but aren't.

It's like watching a team score touchdowns early in a game when you know they should be field goals. It comes back to bite you at the end.

I hate that the Eagles are tied with us.I think we are a better team than they are right now though. They have gotten several lucky breaks in their wins. They have a tougher schedule than us from here on out too. @ Cardinals @ Packers @ Texans vs Seattle, etc. I think if we continue to play the way we played Seattle that the division is ours. I"m starting to keep more of an eye on the whole NFC because we have a chance to win that too. Teams like the Cardinals, 49'ers, and Seattle all have very tough games left and some against each other. It's early but man I'm starting to get more optimistic every week.

We now also have tie-breakers against the Saints and Seahawks, but lose the tie-break vs. the 49ers. Way too early to talk about this stuff, but facts are facts.

Not only do the Eagles get Seattle in Philly, but they come to Dallas on Thanksgiving Day after playing at 1pm EST home against the Titans, whereas the Cowboys will be playing at New York at 8:30pm EST. That stinks!

BTW - That Seattle game is after the Cowboys game, so they will have extra prep/rest time.

In the end, it looks like both can make playoffs, though the schedule favors the Eagles. I still think they win the East.

Eagles have been the luckiest team in the league for 2 years now. I don't know what ritual dances they're doing up there (I assume it has something to do with throwing batteries) but they need to cut it out.

Yeah, beating the Giants should be the priority right now. Dallas CANNOT MESS UP THE HOME DIVISIONAL GAMES!

They MUST cash them in! Cha-Ching!

Just win, and nothing else matters.

(I do hope NY, Philly and Wash lose every game they play, though, just cuz they suck.)

I'm not worried about the Saints but it is nice to have the tie breaker over the Seahawks but sucks about the 49'ers. 49'ers have the tiebreaker over us but if all goes to plan we have the potential to have a better record than them. We have an easier schedule of opponents.

Dallas did it. Beat the defending champion Seahawks. Got it out of the way and can move on.

The Eagles and Giants? Not yet.

Despite their loss to Dallas, the Seahawks still remain a very formidable team indeed, and should be favored against both PHI and NYG. This will be critical later on in the season when tiebreakers loom large. If Dallas is 1-0 against Seattle and the Eagles and Giants are both 0-1 against Seattle, that would make a big difference in common-opponents tiebreaking.

Not to mention, of course, that losing to Seattle would knock the Eagles and Giants down a peg in the win-loss standings.

Gantlet, gantlet!
Do I half to do everything around here?

Where is this Seattle is not good on the road coming from? They went 13-3 last year, 6-2 on the road and 7-1 at home. A 1 game difference!!! They have one home loss and one road loss this year.

Seattle going back to the opening of Centurylink have won 71 percent of their home games there. That of course includes seasons when they were not good.

They have the best home field advantage in sports. All of sports.

Oh and nobody called Seattle bad on the road.

I honestly think that the Gnats matchup better with SEA. SEA is a terrible matchup for philly. I think the hawks are gonna punch the eags right in the mouth and put em down.

Yeth at night school I half learned that gantlet is an ordeal by flogging, tossing ice cream at one while you are running to rescue a chick or being subjected to attacks as you run thru a tunnel of mean mans. A gauntlet is the glove you thow on the ground to challenge someone or a glove you wear to protect yoself from unruly GiANT fans.

I don't really care about THEM.

I want us to concentrate and beat teams in our own division and win the East outright.

Control our own destiny!

Vs NYG:

HFA is on their side and they will more and likely beat them badly.

Vs Philly:

I know the game is in Philly, but I can see two things that will bite Philly.

One, Foles can't move around and elude a pass rush like Romo. The defenders were getting to the backfield but Romo's ability to escape saved us. That won't be the case for Foles.

Two, their interior line won't hold up and this will limit their running game and it will also open lanes up for blitzers. This will lead to Philly being shut down a lot like we did to them in Philly last year.

Shocking.

I doubt it. The Eagles will eventually run into a good team against which the refs won't be able to save them.

They're 12-2 in their last 14 games, at what point does it stop being luck?
