The Eagles O-line will man handle them as well.

Eh. Their O-line is pretty good but I don't know if it's as good as the Cowboys to where they can manhandle the Seattle defense.

I do think they're going to make some plays but I don't think they're going to make enough plays.

Eagles get them on the road? Man. How does that always seem to happen with that stupid team. Doesn't it always seem like they're getting breaks? Either scheduling or with the in-game penalties. I hate them.

I guess we can't really complain, though, since we get the Thursday Thanksgiving game every year.

I do a schedule analysis at the start of each season looking at comparative prep/rest time. Eagles have not been lucky there for a few seasons now. Just with Dallas this year we have the lucky breaks of playing a road Thursday game in Dallas...or how about playing Dallas at home when they will have 10 days rest to our 7. ;)

By now, I'm pretty confident both the Giants and the Eagles are faced with the stark realization that what the Dallas Cowboys did to the Seahawks just might be a pretty hard act to follow. -- LOL, gotta love it. Yayess.

haha, lets see you follow up our act vs the GMen this weekend first...winning a coin toss game by a TD is not exactly an insurmountable act to follow.;)

The Thanksgiving game "advantage" has basically been erased with the advent of Thursday Night football. It used to be somewhat of an advantage because we always knew we'd be at home and, besides the Lions, we were the only team that actually knew they were going to play a Thursday game every year and we got to stay home for it. When every game counts many teams saw it as an advantage to the Cowboys (and Lions) because the game was always a home game.

Now every team plays a Thursday Night game. Very few have actually been competitive. 16 teams a year get now get the advantage that the Cowboys have been "gifted" every year. I always found it funny that other teams would complain about the Cowboys having that Thanksgiving day advantage. Pete Rozelle shopped that game to every team in the league. No one would take it. The Cowboys stepped up and said they would host the game but if they took it they get it every year. Signed, sealed, delivered. The whinefest ensued.
Being the Thursday night home team is the single biggest scheduling advantage out there. Massive. Plus you also usually get the added benefit of having 3 more days to prepare for your next opponent.

Dallas did it. Beat the defending champion Seahawks. Got it out of the way and can move on.

The Eagles and Giants? Not yet.

Despite their loss to Dallas, the Seahawks still remain a very formidable team indeed, and should be favored against both PHI and NYG. This will be critical later on in the season when tiebreakers loom large. If Dallas is 1-0 against Seattle and the Eagles and Giants are both 0-1 against Seattle, that would make a big difference in common-opponents tiebreaking.

Not to mention, of course, that losing to Seattle would knock the Eagles and Giants down a peg in the win-loss standings.

Both teams will lose to a Seahawks team that we provided a new lease on life by taking them behind the wood shed and doing bad things. Seattle will have more focus than ever down the stretch thanks to that embarrassing defeat.

We are going to see the Seahawks again. Next time, they will be ready mentally I'm guessing. Interesting about Seattle's schedule thus far, they have already faced Payton, Rodgers, Rivers and Tony. They've pretty much seen the best the NFL has to offer at QB.

Perfect. Defeat 'em and anger 'em!

I know. I still hate your stupid team, though. How the heck you're 5-1 playing that offense is beyond me. The only consolation is that we're guaranteed to get to see you choke at some point prior to an actual Superbowl, which is incredibly amusing. Until then, though, you just won't go away.

Coin toss game LOL Typical Silver Linings Philly delusion. Seahawks were 8-10 point favorites

Think so, huh? Something tells me that for the Cowboys to be following your Eagles' act vs the Giants, it'll be much easier than for the Eagles to follow the Cowboys' act with the Seahawks. Lotsa luck, sucka -- you'll need it.

talking about how it played out - end of that game could of gone either way. Which is more of a statement? A game that could go either way vs a very good team, or, shutting out an average team 27-0. Serious question, no implied answer by me.

All preset schedule rotation, but yes they still seem to get the breaks
This is a link to the rotation.

We get the next three games at home, a late bye (with a divisional opponent directly after) and get to play the Eagles on a short week at home (Thanksgiving). Can't complain about our schedule one bit.

ya never know...5 and 1 missing two pro bowl OL for most of it. If our O returns to what it was last year...watch out.

Vs NYG:

HFA is on their side and they will more and likely beat them badly.

Vs Philly:

I know the game is in Philly, but I can see two things that will bite Philly.

One, Foles can't move around and elude a pass rush like Romo. The defenders were getting to the backfield but Romo's ability to escape saved us. That won't be the case for Foles.

Two, their interior line won't hold up and this will limit their running game and it will also open lanes up for blitzers. This will lead to Philly being shut down a lot like we did to them in Philly last year.

Three: Their receivers are not as good as ours. Not even close.
