They look really good. It is a long season though. I went into Sundays game thinking we would get a top 10 pick. Maybe that is still true, but getting the win on Sunday may have changed things. I still think they are too limited on offense to be a serious threat but we will see.

I think they are limited on D not O. The O looks really good. Great WR, good #2/3/4 WRs, Excellent OLine and TE and somehow Hurtz looks good. But no DE, Safeties and Cox ain't what he used to be.

I am on topic. I’m talking about how the eagles have built a better team than the cowboys THIS year. Because their FO is aggressive and actually tries to win this year. I pointed out how our FO isn’t aggressive and constantly sells a bunch of BS about how they are building for the future, a future that never comes.


You then said some bull crap about instant gratification which I immediately proved wrong. And now you’re trying to claim I’m off topic because you realize your argument about instant gratification was just that, bull crap.

I think the Eagles are good because they won 9 games last year with a slug at QB. They went into the offseason and upgraded some key holes on their team - WR, pass rush, CB. They have an easy schedule again. Hurts likely can't be worse than he was last year, when again, they won 9 games with him. It's not just about what they have done in two weeks, it about looking at their team overall. They are very good in the trenches, especially along the OL.

It's just common sense at this point to see that the Eagles are actually not some fraud joke here but actually a good team. That doesn't mean I think they are about to go 17-0 and win a SB here either. They just are a good, talented football team. That's just the reality that you are struggling with accepting.

So far this year, where Burkes is still figuring things out...

Burkes: 7 catches on 11 targets for 102 yards 14.6 ypc.
Brown: 15 catches on 21 targets for 224 yards 14.9 ypc. Neither has a TD.

Burkes went against a great D in the Bills and what seems to be an up and coming defense in the Giants. Brown went against air.
