I liked Romo, but in the end he never got it done either, for whatever number of reasons/excuses. What makes me laugh are the ones that try to prop Dak up by dogging Romo...it's been 8 years since he retired. He's irrelevant at this stage to anything to do with Dak. Dak's his own brand of failure.
If romo had contributed as hard to lack of playoff success as dak...Id dog on him too. I feel if we are going to sit here and back and forth...then deets are important. I present this synopsis (he's no romo homer, he's critical of the previous lions game)
2014 AT green bay?

"

After a week of spotty inaccuracy versus the Lions in the Cowboys’ wildcard match-up, Tony Romo and the Cowboys traveled to Lambeau Field to play the Packers in this divisional match-up. Tony Romo looked excellent all game completing the vast majority of his passes while looking poised in the pocket. A controversial play ended the season for Dallas, but Romo’s performance was not the reason why the team lost."

" Overall, Romo’s performance was very underrated. He consistently threw excellent balls with anticipation to his receivers and looked good in the pocket. Romo does have a problem taking too many sacks and trying too hard to make a play. Otherwise, his performance was excellent and his accuracy was pinpoint as compared to the previous week versus the Lions."

Like I said, I'm a fan of the guy. He had his share of clunkers in big moments, he had his share of bad breaks, and he definitely had games that he played well enough to win but didn't, this being one of them. One thing I liked is he never looked scared, like he didn't know what he was doing. He may have made some mistakes trying to put the team on his shoulders, but he never looked like a lost puppy dog.

In the end though, same results. Sucks but is what it is.

Like the article says...he took a few crazy chances. Sometimes worked sometimes didn't. People only remember the didn'ts.

Not you...I appreciate your level take. Ijust don't want to get caught up in the "x player didn't get it done" when the rest of the teams *** it up even harder. That goes for everyone Dak included.

Ok, Tony knows nothing about his own game.
You run with that.
You said that. You didn’t provide a quote that he said that. The game doesn’t just magically slow down for a QB his tenth year in the league.

If 191 passing yards and 2 touchdowns is good enough for you then so be it. In a playoff game that’s not gonna cut it. Maybe in 1955…..you don’t know the definition of half the words you spew out you’re just talking lol…..do you know what choker means?
Umm…what stats are you even talking about? Are you even a Cowboys fan or a Dak fan? These were his stats that year, one against the #2 defense in the league that year:

I’m talking about his stats in our losses…did you forget what we are even discussing? Go and google his stats from the game he lost in the post season…..not sure what you are so confused about.

Aww man we remember Romo differently. He didn’t have the deer in headlights look Iike Dak but he for sure had dumb face when things went bad

"we"...you mean you haters?

You mean THESE kinds of losses?: 25-36 506 yards 5 TDs 1 Int.

What QB loses with those stats?

Romo...and YOU blame HIM. Weird.

No. I clearly said his stats in 2014 Mr. Deflection as evidence contrary to your BS claim and that he did play very well and the team still lost. Unlike your boy Dak who has been a real choker.

Isn’t this the game where Romo threw a pick to end our chances at winning? Nice try lol. Actually I’m not even sure what you’re trying here….

48-48

Three guys covering Escobar….pick. Jesus.

No. You Dak-Stans bring Romo into the conversation and call him a choker to deflect from your boy Dak choking. You level everything down even though it makes no sense just to prop Dak’s terrible performances up. It’s delusional, devoid of context, and to put mildly, tiresome and utterly stupid.

Yet another fan who puts all the blame for the failures on Dak. Totally ignoring all the other issues.
