Well for starters, how about we not call all those who aren’t sold on Dak being the best thing since sliced bread “haters”.

Sure, the ones who claim he’s the worst ever I guess are haters.

The kid has been inconsistent and some want to see more consistency before they want the franchise to hand over a huge contract to him. Why does that make someone a “haters”?

Frankly there is no dumber a term than “hater” when applied to the discussion of any player. It’s just laziness.
It’s just an attempt by some to call out those who aren’t aligned with them or elevate themselves.

Dak has some obvious passing weaknesses but winning cures all ills. Daks winning ways continue to overcome his lack of prolific passing ability.

Who isn’t excited to see how far it will take us?

No there are clear cut haters. The people that continue sprew ridiculous hate while ignoring the obvious deserve it.

Its typically the guys saying silly things like "just because they dont see Dak as the next coming". I havent heard that ONE time. Most people say is he is a great young QB and he should be resigned and IS the franchise guy we are looking for. Thats only stating the obvious.

Is why I love Dak Prescott . He put the team on his back and did everything in his skill set to win .

Dak refused to be denied wasn't going to throw some chancy pass in the middle of the field tucked it in and ran over people and continued to do so till the job was done .

For years we had the greatest PASSER in cowboy history and were lucky to ever get this far . This game and many others have showed to win when its tough you need a FOOTBALL PLAYER not just a pure passer and we have one now in Dak

Dak is a beast that when necessary can use his well conditioned body and impose his will in an old school smash mouth style that we have not seen since Roger QB this team and made teams fear what he could do with his legs .

Daks passing is improving and will continue to get better along with his pocket presence and ability to get rid of the ball and avoid sacks , which all looked improved tonight on the biggest stage .

For the Haters Dak left you nothing!!!!! Crawl in your holes and come back at TC don't say you were wrong or on board now just go away and let real Cowboy fans enjoy this
How many of Prescott's runs for positive gains were designed plays involving him to run the ball as opposed to scrambles? Prescott delivered in a big way last night and deserves to be praised but what he did or did not do should be discussed in context. If a quarterback makes plays with his legs because certain plays call for him to run the ball, why should that be used as a counter against a quarterback given designed plays where the run is not optional?

We’re fixing to see at the next step of the playoffs the more elite QB’s and what that means for their teams chances to advance.

If Daks winning style along with the teams support is enough to advance to a championship game and or Super Bowl then who cares if the kid isn’t an elite passing QB.

The naysayers who get themselves in trouble are the ones who said we’d never win anything with Dak. That doesn’t leave them any room and for the sake of their agenda or argument stay with it as to not be proven wrong. Very silly and immature.

Oh look, another not so veiled tear Romo down to build Dak. There is no need for that, but still some continue to do it. Dak does well on his own. But it does take a TEAM. It's not a one-man game. Never has been, never will be.

Dak helped the team win, which is all he's expected to do. A QB doesn't throw it to himself. He doesn't play defense. He doesn't block for himself. etc. He didn't carry anything. He performed the job of QB very well.
Well said.
And you're about to see Dak get paid....a lot. Oh, and Romo might have been more durable had Jerry been intelligent about the O-line before it was too late.
Bold> That observation did seem like a poorly considered discussion point. :p

At this point, Dak's progress on those weaknesses will have to wait. I fully expect him to work on them this off-season. Working on them now might mess things up.

Imagine how good this team is going to be next year with a healthy Oline and spending some of that salary cap money?

Dak's gonna cost $20 mil, Dlaw is gonna cost $25 mil next year. Salary cap gone ....

He’s been working on them for 3 years. It is what it is and he is what he is. But it doesn’t matter if he makes enough plays to win.

I was never a Dak hater but cmon, the guy can really drive you nuts during a game and I believe that's most of some of the fans complaint.

There are not many that can admit they actually sit back and watch these games with comfort. Even the Tampa game was an edge of your seat game.

The last team we really handled handily was jacksonville.

Much of my Cowboys fan life has been on the edge of my seat . Start around the Ice bowl and go through Rogers era and Dannys Troys era was pretty dominant but during my young life it seemed like I was on the edge of my seat watching Roger every Sunday

I am very excited I pick next year as the time it all falls into place . Dak has another yr experience, Oline healthy , a TE emerges , Connor Williams a yr in weight room , a good draft and hopefully some new talented coaches

I criticize him when he plays poorly and praise him when he plays well. If that makes me a hater in your eyes or anyone else's I'm good with that. I'm not going anywhere though, and I'll bet good money that I love the wins every bit as much as you do. I'll bet that drives you, the "real fan", crazy huh? I'm good with that too.

Go Cowboys!!

This team’s future is now. Salary cap will eventually tear it apart.

Im hoping we can get it done before what ever we have to pay him compromises our ability to build the team . At least he has shown he is durable it really sucks paying a guy a fortune while he is injured or calling games for a network

I have no problem with constructive criticism of any player if the person criticizing can intelligently analyze the situation and basically give me something more than just DAK SUCKs like many I have heard on this site

How about a QB that was a great passer and opted out of the run because he liked to pass and was really good at it . LOLOL

Greg its not just an attempt Im calling all the people out that were saying we should tank the season and Dak sucks and he cant do this or that . All the people with there negative posts and exaggerations about Dak and this team and how he could never win in the playoffs .

Dak is not the greatest passer in franchise history but he is a winner and one heck of a Football Player who dose everything in his skillset to win . That's all I can ask and this is exciting !!!

That, by definition, is a scramble. If the argument that Romo threw errant passes instead of scrambling, that is worthy of discussion. However, comparing positive gains on plays designed with the run in mind against negative plays where the run was not optional is not logically the same.

Reminds me of Donavan MCNabb and McNair a lot. Like a hybrid of the 2. Not always sexy or Pretty, just wins and gets BIG in big moments.
