The Fan just said Brandon Moore re-retired

This seems appropriate.

Count me out for wanting guys who don't want to be here. I didn't want Cole Beasley back when he quit the team last year. Do you not think that guys like Tyrone Crawford would kill for a chance to be out there, but you have guys who you have to beg and plead to come play for you. I'm not a fan of that. If you want to get paid, play, if not, stay at home.

What a joke! I'd rather not have a guy who's heart is not in it, especially after seeing us play pretty hard in our first preseason game. I don't believe he was any better than what we have right now anyway.

He's much better then what we have right now, we have some of the worst guards in the league Moore was one of the better guards in the league last year and a probowler the year before

What sucks is that Moore's play was definitely declining, i.e., not a pro-bowler (maybe just because of the system he last played in?), and yet he was still going to definitely be an upgrade, so much so that many of us felt like the O Line problem would be fixed.

Being in mediocrity for as long as this team has been has one awful major effect, that is, a decent player looks great and a bad player looks decent.

This is a huge blow for this team, because he was a desperately needed upgrade.

Big time, people can play down his ability all they want, but he was veteran dept that would have a the very least pushed people into sinking or swimming. Bizarre to see posters that seem to be happy about this and the current situation.

yep, I was feeling better about the Cowboys oline than I have in I can't remember how long and now this..

Sorry.

But unless you have better info I don't think the $1.5 mil figure is relevent.

Lol!

Okay then, provide any substantive argument pertaining to a higher price, besides the fact that Moore decided to be a loser...

I was excited when I heard about this. But probably not as excited as most. I just didn't know what he had left or what kind of shape he's in.

An unpopular opinion then but probably not so much now.

First Kovalchuk, now this. Weird, unprecedented retirements seem to be following me this year

This really sucks, couldn't leave his family??? What was that guy's name on the Sopranos " Big What?"

Pretty ridiculous thing to say. Choosing his family over an extra $2MM doesn't make him what you're suggesting...

Let me reiterate something about the Moore retirement: It sucks. I know he's just a "name", but I went to bed so happy last night. Then, I woke up this morning, and it was like someone had cancelled Christmas.

Screw people who hate Christmas.
