Not a chance in hell of you selling me that load of goods.

Don't have to sell anyone. 3 Pro scouts I know think he is vastly over rated and he's being hyped up because this year's draft is weak in the LB department compared to previous years.

It is a fictional championship. Last year were the 2 best college basketball teams in the country North Carolina and Michigan State? Carolina it si hard ot argue against them last year. But come on, Michigan State? Yet who earned a right to face them for the National Championship?

There are 82 college sports. 81 of them are decided by a tournament to crown a Champion. The biggest one of them all says only 2 teams deserve any shot. It's a load of crap.

I doubt Boise State could beat Bama or Texas, but we have no chance of ever knowing that do we? Why? Because it is a fictional championship. A computer has decided these 2 teams deserve it. They earned this with wins over the FIU Golden Panthers and the Louisiana Monroe Warhawks every bit as much as they earned it with wins over Florida and Nebraska.

The system sucks. Therefore it is fictional. I have no issue with crowning the Cincinnati Bearcats the National Champion if they run the table and earn it. This isn't earning it. This is nothing more than a bad continuation of an already flawed logic. It has never made sense.

Is a playoff system better? Maybe..I am not arguing that..What I AM telling you is that Bama and UT are the 2 best teams in the country..More times than not the BCS gets it right..Plus, I dont bleed burnt orange, I bleed silver and blue..so it doesnt matter that much to me lol..

I almost forgot...

Witten's OOOOOPEN
Ruuuuuuunin down the football field
Romos got him in his siiiiiiiiiiiiights

hahahahaha

The only year I feel (but even this is not proof, just a feeling) for sure the BCS got it right was when UT and USC played in 2005....otherwise, there is pretty good debate that they have NEVER truly (without dispute) have gotten it right. Without a playoff, who is to say Florida is not much better than UT...or maybe even Boise, TCU, tOSU, Oregon as well? You don't know unless you have a playoff, otherwise it is just speculation...that often turns out to be way wrong.

UT bareley beatin NEB 13-12 ROFLMAO

UT played one tough team this year that was OK an beat them 16-13

Texas should number one every year -

the easiest schedule in the country every year

the BIG 12 not near as tough as the SEC

Louisiana-Monroe, Wyoming, Texas Tech, UTEP,Colorado,Oklahoma, Missouri, Oklahoma State, UCF, Baylor, Kansas, Texas A&M

do you see any tough teams in that group

they don't play anybody

what a push over schedule

yea they should be undeated - but NUMBER TWO IN THE COUNTRY GIVE ME A BREAK

with Tides D pushing them horns around all night

don't give UT a chance I see a USC beating OK type score 55-19

I see the Tide Spankin Texas *** an puttin them to bed wet

I really like college football, but I will not love college football until there is a playoff system.

No system is perfect nor will there ever be a perfect system.

I would much rather have a 8 team / 12 team playoff system as an example and having the 9th or 13th rated team whine about not making the playoffs instead of having a true contender not even haveing a chance at playing for the championship.

The running game. Alambama has a Heisman Trophy winner.
Texas has a guy named Newt (I think) who has half the rushing yards of his Crimson Tide counterpart.
Yes, Colt is a heck of a runner, but the Tide will contain him and then shut him down. Crush him like the pretender he is.

So it comes down to rushing, mens.

you heard it here first: Tide 30 Shortribs 20

Here goes another one of these big bad SEC jokers...Does the big 12 suck? Yes, they do..But the SEC is a shell of its former self..UT almost lost to Nebraska? Yes, they did..AND Bama almost lost to Tennessee...Tennessee? hahahaha..

Auburn - looked terrible in its bowl game
Ole Miss - looked terrible
Lsu- Spanked by PSU

Texas 24
Alabama 16

Texas get a big special teams play that either scores or sets up an easy score for the offense.

These SEC *** kissers have taken the koolaid the media has given them in that they are the best conference. C'mon they have dwarfs just like all the others with a couple of good teams on top. Give them credit that Florida and Alabama are at the top of their game RIGHT NOW, but every year is changing. The other dwarfs are nothing to brag about.

:laugh2:

I'd be shocked if you know 3 pro scouts who all think this and you know this because you have discussed Rolando McLain with them. Forgive me for doubting, but I find that really hard to buy.

I actually know over 2 dozen Pro scouts for various sports teams. One of my best friends was a former scout for the NY Giants. Living in New York I've got to know a lot of sports writers, NFL/NBA/MLB players, coaches, scouts, etc. I asked the 3 of them who would they choose for top LB in the draft and each mentioned they liked UT's Kindle and Muckleroy. They said McClain has already peaked. No room for improvement. Similar to Barbie Carpenter. Texas LB's have loads more potential and have haven't reached their potential. Don't really care what you think. If i recall correctly you are from a little Arizona podunk town where hearsay is gospel. So I trust my sources who are in the loop more than your gossip ******.
