Anyone giddy about what you saw in our first possession? I am.
Here's what I saw:

1. Dak passing with no runningback deep in enemy territory.
2. Spread offense with 5 receivers.
3. Dez running a simple slant to get us out of the hole.
4. Hurry up offense. When did we ever see that on our first possession?
5. Our run game up the middle was devastating. It won't matter who runs the ball.
6. Dak's poise is unbelievable. Its better than last years.
7. Dak's arm seems stronger and has better accuracy.
8. Dak's checkdown technique reminds me of Aikman's.
9. We might come to realize we are a better passing team than most will want to admit. Thanks for the suspension Mr. Goddell.

Hope we keep it even during the season.

I agree they looked awesome, I am still leaving my foot on the pre-season brake pedal. The Colts have some issues is my number one complaint(they struggled last week against Detroit) and combine that with playing against an outstanding Offensive line and QB on fire. It definitely looks like cowboy magic out on the field with the first team offense without Elliot. The Cowboys had no issues running the ball on Saturday. In all, they had 160 rushing yards on 32 carries, for a 5 yards-per-carry average. McFadden seemed unstoppable early, netting runs of 5, 6, 5, 6, 11, 11 and 14 yards before losing that aforementioned fumble. Alfred Morris also had some nice runs, while Rod Smith beasted his way to runs of 12 and 20 yards at one point in the fourth quarter. I wish play in the pre season really translated into the full season.
Fingers crossed no more injuries and bring on the Giants.

Only downer on Dak, two of his passes, one to Witten and one to Beasley were thrown a bit behind them. They made good grabs, but now I'm splitting hairs. They looked great and them the slap across the face when Moore came in. Lol
