Half a yard is a decent spread at this level. Half a yard more for Zeke and he's with the best of al time in ypc.

Let's not forget td's and gamebreaking plays.
Sure it's significant. Zeke is a younger more talented back than Mcfadden. Nobody doubts that. But when people casually say all the 8-10 yard runs will turn into 15-20 yard runs is just silly talk born out of fantasy.

If myself or "people" said ALL then that would be silly. We didn't.

That was your fantastic take on it.

Dez looked like what a healthy Dez has always looked like.

I think some have forgotten just how good Dez was to start his career.

To put it in perspective he had one of the best starts to a career in NFL history at the position.

Anyone giddy about what you saw in our first possession? I am.
Here's what I saw:

1. Dak passing with no runningback deep in enemy territory.
2. Spread offense with 5 receivers.
3. Dez running a simple slant to get us out of the hole.
4. Hurry up offense. When did we ever see that on our first possession?
5. Our run game up the middle was devastating. It won't matter who runs the ball.
6. Dak's poise is unbelievable. Its better than last years.
7. Dak's arm seems stronger and has better accuracy.
8. Dak's checkdown technique reminds me of Aikman's.
9. We might come to realize we are a better passing team than most will want to admit. Thanks for the suspension Mr. Goddell.

Hope we keep it even during the season.
Based on practices we are supposedly running more dig routes this year. Good use of Bryant

Run game looked good without Zeke, but Mcfadden seems to run with his eyes closed once he finds the hole. No vision or cutting ability. Zeke turns those 5 yard runs into big plays. Mcfadden is a get whats there type of runner, put his head down and try to get a extra yard or two. Morris and Smith actually runs with better vision. Oh and that fumble in the redzone is what loses games. That was atleast 3 points right there.

Spot on

If R. Switzer can get on the field with Bease and do 1/2 of what Bease can do, this offense will be truly unstoppable. And add Rico to the mix. I'm getting excited below the waist just thinking about it.

That was paraphrasing and not to be taken completely literally.

Here:

Zeke's talent can be measured by how he sometimes makes longer runs than other running backs.
Here:

In a 20 carry game we should expect that Zeke would have 10 more yards than McFadden going off their last full seasons running behind this line.

Nope

Zeke was a rookie. He'll likely be better this year. McFadden is older and would never get 20 carries anyway. He's not that much better than his backups to keep them from getting time. Zeke is.

Zeke also had 17? Td's. Several were long gamebreaking plays.

Mcfadden has 33 career td's in 8 years. He's not in the same leage(that's not to be taken literally I realize they both play in the NFL) as Zeke.

We can compare their stats if Rod doesn't make him a backup and discuss later.

Bottom line---he's much much much better and would have had longer runs given the same holes. His vision is on another level completely. Eagles defenders said he sees holes others don't and you must have complete discipline in your gaps or he'll kill you. His finishing punishing style compared to McFadden is another factor that makes him far better. He completely changes the game.
