In Zeke's first season he averaged 5.1 ypc. Mcfadden's last full season he was at 4.6 ypc.

We're pretending that Zeke is Sanders and Mcfadden and co are udfas now?

Difference was teams game planned to stop Zeke... not so much with McFadden

Nope

Zeke was a rookie. He'll likely be better this year. McFadden is older and would never get 20 carries anyway. He's not that much better than his backups to keep them from getting time. Zeke is.

Zeke also had 17? Td's. Several were long gamebreaking plays.

Mcfadden has 33 career td's in 8 years. He's not in the same leage(that's not to be taken literally I realize they both play in the NFL) as Zeke.

We can compare their stats if Rod doesn't make him a backup and discuss later.

Bottom line---he's much much much better and would have had longer runs given the same holes. His vision is on another level completely. Eagles defenders said he sees holes others don't and you must have complete discipline in your gaps or he'll kill you. His finishing punishing style compared to McFadden is another factor that makes him far better. He completely changes the game.

Yes Zeke is better than McFadden. That's not in dispute.

Also RB TDs are more dependent on the overall offense and not solely on the RB. Blount had 18 tds last year in NE. How many is he going to get in Philly?

Fact of the matter is....the RB position just isn't that important in today's game and our offensive line makes it even more true for us than anyone else.

Another falsehood. Mcfadden faced many a stacked box in 2015.

And teams game-plan for team's tendencies not just solely for players. And hey, if teams don't want to dedicate additional resources to stopping our run game...more power to them.

Zeke turns those 8-12 yard runs into15-20 yard runs.

Even if this is true--which it might be-- the end result of a drive with either of those is a touchdown. :)

If this offense avoids penalties and turnovers...it will score points.
