Dont push your low standards on me. I want to win SB's.

And if you think this team has a chance to win the SB with this defense then you are dense.
Yes, if we make the playoffs we certainly have a chance to win the Super Bowl. We will have an explosive offense and the defense will improve with Lawrence and as the year goes on.

Romo never has any problems stretching the field with our receivers when he's the QB. Next.
I would love to be wrong. But like I said....who is Dez running by? Josh Norman can't even run...and he was stride for stride with Dez when they locked up yesterday. You sending Beasley long? You sending Witten long? I guess you could argue Terrance Williams can run...but does this team trust him?

By the way, I damn sure know we don't have a chance to win the Super Bowl if we don't make the playoffs. End of story.

I can see why you rarely post other than pictures. And as an aside, exclamation points don't make your point any more valid.
Say what you want about me, but Stash is 100 times better poster than you will ever be !!!!

Stretch the field? When he does go down field people drop it. And instead of forcing it down field he throws it to a wide open beasley. And if they have the box stacked then don't you think garret should have an audible for a quick pass? Dak has done nothing wrong to this point

Garrett? He doesn´t even call the plays. Thats all on Prescott before the snap.

If he's healthy and his play isn't the reason he shouldn't get his job back - then he should get his job back.

But the flip side is that Prescott will lose it with no valid reason. He's done everything necessary to have this team at 2-0. And he hasn't been injured or missed time, not once! If that continues, there's zero reason why he should lose the job. Romo's health has been more than enough reason to cost him. It sucks, but it's fact.

It's one thing to get caught up with Dak's play and poise, but it's entirely another to suggest that we wouldn't be better with Romo, especially if we want to make a playoff run. We are still pretty limited in our offensive game plan with Dak right now. He has yet to stretch the field and our running game isn't as effective as it should be.

He hasn't needed to, and he hasn't tried. He's done everything required to win other than catching the ball for his receivers. He's 2-0, this team is 1-1.

There's nothing wrong with being excited about Dak and there's nothing wrong with being excited about Tony's return. They are both mutually exclusive.

I am excited about both. I'm just not interested in handing Romo anything or undeservedly taking anything away from Prescott.

If future events change that, I'll be glad to amend my thoughts accordingly, but so far, Prescott deserves the job.

Way to avoid what I said. Romo has NEVER had a problem stretching the field with any receivers we've had including our current ones. Nice swing and a miss!

EXACTLY. So the needle needs to start pointing towards the future instead of THIS year. The more Dak plays this year the better chance we will have next year with him behind center.

hahaha Dak wont start next year if Romo is healthy...

I think some understand it's a long season. Teams will adjust to Dak, trying to take away his strengths. Where as with Romo the guy knows every coverage and can read the defense before taking the snap. The best case scenario is for Prescott to still sit and take over in 2018.

I don't see how any team could take away Dak's strength due to our talent on offense. Dak has 2 critical qualities, poise, and intelligence under duress. Our offensive unit will perform as long as the play calling is good/unpredictable. Yesterday, to my surprise, we called bootlegs on 1st and 10 which left the flat open for easy completions. This offense is a DC's worst nightmare because theirs nothing you can gin up to stop us. This is why Dak hasn't made too many bonehead throws, when the play calling is good we can march down the field without issues.

You win the SB in the future based on the decisions you make today. The quicker management realizes this the sooner we have a chance down the road. Think how far ahead this team would be if we stuck with DAk and actually made the playoffs.
Has that even entered your head as a possibility? If Garrett had any real coaching skills we would be 2-0 right now.

It's truly hard to believe our dim-witted fan base is trying to generate a QB controversy when the backup has 0 TD passes and has completed one pass all season long where the ball was in the air 20 yards. As I said in another thread, I guess going 3-13 over the last calendar year will mess you up so bad that you suddenly believe that standing in the pocket with all day to throw and throwing five yard passes to Cole Beasley is irreplaceable QB play.

As opposed to the 'dim-witted fan base' that wants to ignore the facts of a player who can't stay healthy and hasn't played well since 2014 and are in a rush to sit a player who's done everything required of him to have this team 2-0.

I dont think people realize that romo would be getting killed on a some of these plays. That 4th and 1 call where he rolled out against the rush and threw to Swain, Romo would have gotten killed and never made the pass.

Well, since you used 3 exclamation points I'm definitely going to go and finger paint. That was a very forceful post.:hammer::yourock::bow::flagwave:

Only one dim-witted fan base is real. The other you made up for a lame retort.

You put a healthy Jaylon Smith in this defense plus a good defensive draft/free agents and you have a team to win it all with Romo.
