I thought Garrett was building a TEAM
with vision and direction.

He loses some guys and suddenly, the team possibly can't win and he is excused. i mean how many excuses does this guy get?

How ridiculously bad would this defense have looked if Jerry didn't pull a TO and sign a playmaker like Hardy on defense?

The whole Garrett family needs to have a restraining order against them... They shouldn't be allowed anywhere near Valley Ranch anymore...

Its hard to get termites out of the house.

Or 10-6 in 2003...

At least back then we had Parcells here doing things with mirrors. But the mirrors were what cracked and then when he finally built it up Jerry drove him away with TO and we got Uncle Wade & Garrett.

The biggest indictment I give Garrett is that despite the 12-4 last year I was never excited about the prospect of five more years of him as coach. I believe he'd be a better Personnel/GM guy than coach. Maybe once McClay leaves for a GM post Jerry moves him there. We can only hope.

Good coaches make adjustments and find a way to win. JG has proven to do the exact opposite.

Other coaches have lost great players and still found a way to win and if something wasn't working made tweaks to put the best team on the field.

We have shown that we can play good for a half each game and then keep repeating the same mistake over and over again.

Good coaches don't do that.

There's not a coach in the league, including Belichick, who takes Weeden and beats Brady today.

Our team---whatever else you may say about it--is usually prepared and they play hard. We're getting beat right now because we lack talent at key offensive positions, and because we're still making mistakes along the OL in some situations.

So basically, you're saying he should develop a scheme or gameplan that makes sucky players succeed?

Didn't JG build this roster? I was told that was one of his big assets by the JG fan club. That he was the reason we had a great roster.

Now the excuse is he can't develop a game plan for HIS players? Really? Who can he game plan for then? Only HOF caliber players?

It's so funny that we have the same people pushing parallel Weeden's not the problem, coaching is not the problem threads. I guess the conclusion must be that there is no problem with the offense.

Well, even though Bellicheat is a cheater, he's smart enough to not have a guy like Weeden on his roster to ever be in such a situation in the first place. It's not like this comparison makes Garrett look any better.

I somewhat defended WeDone past two games because I thought he did enough to win had defense played better.

Defense played lights out today yet he could only muster 6 points. He needs to sit.
