You still going to stick with this argument erod?
JG is absolutely nothing without Romo covering up his ineptitude.
Quoted for truth!!!!

Garrett is the one who decided to start Weeden.
Obviously. Because Moore and Cassel weren't better options.
Anybody is a better option than Weeden.
There's not a coach in the league, including Belichick, who takes Weeden and beats Brady today.
Our team---whatever else you may say about it--is usually prepared and they play hard. We're getting beat right now because we lack talent at key offensive positions, and because we're still making mistakes along the OL in some situations.
Nobody said that anyone expected for us to beat the the Patriots with Weeden. But what I as a fan do expect is for the head coach to put the best possible players to at least give us a chance. The fact that JG thinks that the guy who hasn't won in how many starts now is their best opportunity to win causes me to seriously question his judgment, or lack of judgment, as a head coach.
Is that the fact that "we're playing hard" what we consider success for this team now? Because if so my oh my have our standards fallen.
I expect much more than that from this team. I expect for us to beat a pitiful Saints team. I expect for us to make halftime adjustments against the Falcons and pick up a few first downs and run time off the clock rather than forcing our defense out there on the field for the majority of the 2nd half. I expect for a head coach to actually hold his team, his coaches, and himself accountable for a lack of performance. I realize that that's a foreign concept for so many fans and this organization but come on.
We should expect so much more for this team.
. Best bet if you're going to change QBs is to do it after the bye, where you've got an extra week to bring him up to speed and two full weeks to install a game plan with a new QB. You also might have Dez to work with.
Are you seriously taking the position that despite not having Romo or Dez we should have beaten teams QB'ed by Matt Ryan, Drew Brees and Tom Brady?
No offense, but that's just dumb.
A woeful Philly team did . . . . . . . . . . . . and it wasnt even close.
I agree with that. Though I would've played Cassel in the 2nd half today. Worst case scenario? We lose 30-3 instead of 30-6. Big deal.
Now back to your point though...the time to make a clean, clear-cut decision is now. So Cassel gets all the reps and he can prepare. If they stick with Weeden and he bombs in 2 weeks in the first half and THEN JG decides to go to Cassel, thats foolish. Tell the guy he is starting and give him all the reps.

I think that ended today................Cassel will get the start in New York since its basically the season on the line.

Philly is healthier than we are, and they were at home.
The notion that a Cowboy team QB'ed by Brandon Weeden should beat any NFL team with an upper tier QB is complete nonsense.
Then why is he here?
No, it actually isn't. But hey, keep up making excuses.
You make it sound like there's no other team has been able to compete once their players get hurt.
I guess in your mind we should just give up and get the excuse train rolling because that's essentially what you're saying.
And we were up 14 points three different times against Atlanta even with Matt Ryan. So what's the excuse there? I guess they must have realized they weren't supposed to be competing with them while they were at full strength.
Here's a perfect motto for all you fans making excuses.
Because that's exactly how all of you sound.
Then why is he here?
