And that is not what I'm looking forward to, his next contract...see if he wants to help himself or his team, and of course the whole organization.

At the least omit the (sorry JJ, but I ain't going anywhere) until I tell you I want to. See if he wants to really carry on the legacy as a Dallas Cowboy...see if them true colors come out.
It’s amazing how some fans either don’t want to recognize or simply refuse to.

But Prescott barring a career ending injury is Jethro’s guy. It has no bearing on this season success.

You'd think after all of these years fans would have a better sense of our owner.

He’s already said he’s going to extend Dak sooner than later. The longer he waits the more fuel this adds for the Dak detractors .
He may have said he wants to extend Dak sooner than later, but at what cost is he willing to do it sooner at?

If he truly wants to get it done sooner, the fact that it hasn't been done could indicate a significant gap in Jerry's offer and Dak's demands.

I don't see Jerry caving to Dak's demands yet again if he sees them as unreasonable.

The circumstantial evidence seems to indicate that an extension is not a sure thing.

Sometimes right or wrong don't matter when the egos take over.

I'm interesting in starting anyone but Dak.

But I don't want it to be Rush, because he's never going to be anything.

I'll take the unknown that Lance brings over the known that Dak brings any day though.
People need to stop conversing with this troll. ^^^^ His only purpose here is to brainwash the masses into thinking absolutely ridiculous and dividing this forum.

How can you say that when he hasn't played a single down yet? If he lights it up when he gets his first opportunity he will absolutely be a threat.
If he plays that means something really bad happens to Dak and Rush. That is highly unlikely. Get out of nightmare land. The season is upon us.

I expect a 2 year extension for about 50 mil a season . We shall see .

I don’t usually but this need to be exposed for what it is . Pure Dak trolling .

And it’s just plain silly if they think Lance is starting soon.

Shows they have no finger on the pulse of Cowboys Football.

The only place Trey Lance is ever beating out Dak Prescott in a QB competition is in the dreams of some of the posters here.

Meanwhile in the real world, Dak Prescott is better QB on one leg with a BAC of 0.15 than Lance likely ever will be.

I like him and Dak will be extended and this will be a non issue…

however if trey lance shows enough as qb3 this year in practice that the cowboys feel confident in him to be a franchise caliber guy with such little experience in Dallas and overall and they were actually correct it would be great for the franchise to have such little dollars allocated to the qb position for 2 years.

That’s the ideal way to win in the league if you can…franchise qb on a rookie deal surrounded by vets and higher paid studs. There’s also a reason why it rarely ever happens.

You hate them.

Why do you believe anything they say?
Yes but they aren’t liars. Just idiots . Lol

I believe this is what they intend to do at this time .

Could it change . Sure but as always Jethro idiotically broadcast his intentions .

Nothing.

An extension don't mean squat.

Green Bay gave Rodgers an extension last year too.
Again they are holding on to false hopes concerning Dakko getting a massive new deal extension.
All the signals point to # 4 having Zeke's fate come next Spring.
They are saving cap cash and with the increase that is being foretold the 25 mill dead money hit will have zero effect on this team's ability to pay its true stars and acquire new talent.
Enjoy Dak lovers as this is the last season you will be able to see Prescotto Egg laying wearing the Star on his helmet!!!

It's sad that they hope more for an extension saving Dak than his play on the field.

You can't convince me at all that Dak fans are Cowboys fans.
