The luckiest person of the last 100 years

I love Ringo!!! He just wasn't on the level of the other three. The other three were brilliant. Brilliant.

I'm sorry, Melon :(

I had a couple of his solo albums ,they weren't that bad " good night Vienna "?
It's been a long time ago,though

George Harrison kicked it off in a stunningly different vector ,good stuff from him.
Lennon? Me and Nixion both didn't care all that much for him

Creedence Clearwater put together some great stuff with pretty much basic rifts/beat( I'm not a guitar player, but those guys would agree)
"It came outta the sky" is my all time favorite and it gets very little playing time on radio stations:eek:
CCR were gold man,... did so much great oldmstuff... Cotton Fields...Midnight Special...come to mind..Lead belly tune...Run through the Jungle...should appeal to my boy Josh...

Love em all, Boxer! My fav's are probably Have You Ever Seen the Rain, Bad Mary, Who'll Stop the Rain, and Fortunate Son :)

I used to roll hard to them and a bevy of other 60's and 70's rock bands :)

Tambourines and elephants are playing in the band!!! :D

Ha! Now your talkin!! Never mind the Beatles...CCR ruled. Lodi....Proud Mary...heck...I put a spell on you....

Understood.

Keep in mind "luck" can also be being born with a specific talent like writing songs. To a certain extend that is lucky. But McCartney not only capitalized on his "luck" he multiplied it many fold.

Agreed.

Luck is stuff outside of your control.

Having a good voice or looks is completely outside of ones control.

It wasn't in 100 years but remember the story or movie Mutiny on the Bounty? Well It wasn't Captain Bligh or Mr. Christian, but one of Mr. Christian's fellow mutineers. They went to a Pacific island to escape the British who were after them for the mutiny. They met the Pacific Island natives ,they found out the British were coming to this island and left with 50 of the native men to help on their ship and also 50 of the women. Well they found an unknown island and stayed there. The mutineers and the native men starting fighting over the women and they all killed each other except one of the mutineers survived and the native women nursed him back to health and he ended up populating that whole island with his offspring with all the native women. That is the luckiest guy. If I could be anyone in history I would have been him.
