The more I watch Odell, the more I get ticked off about Dez

I for one envy how Atlanta uses Julio Jones. They move him around in the slot and they use those crossing patterns to free him up. They draw up plans on the sidelines based on what the defense is showing and its hardly the same gameplan. Just like the Partriots. Every game is a different game plan.

It just baffles me on why we can't do the same with Bryant and some of our other weapons on offense. Is Garrett that clueless to draw a play or two based on what he sees on the field? I've never seen him do it.

A lot of the things T.O. Was saying about Garrett years ago were true. It's amazing he's still here and Jerry just gave him a nice fat 5 year extension.

More like Garrett nation and Cassell nation has ruined him. Have Odell and Dez switch places and Dez will be tearing it up in New York. Look at how different Dwayne Harris looks over there.

Only difference with Dwayne Harris is the uniform. He did the same things here. Just looks different because it's magnified due to us fans singling him out performance-wise.

I disagree here. What you saw from Harris here is that he was a utility piece on offense. He was used as a blocker and an occasional gadget. The system in New York is putting him out into patterns that he simply was not doing in Dallas. It could be a scheme thing, but when he sets career highs for receptions and the season isn't even over yet, you can't say he was asked to do the same things in Dallas. Going into this season, Harris had 33 receptions in total. He has exactly 33 receptions in 13 games as a Giant.

Dez Bryant has 15 100+ receiving yards games in 83 career games. Odell Beckham Jr. has 15 100+ receiving yards games in 25 career games. Beckham is a very special player.

Yup they target him like 15 times a game also.. They move him all over the place.its funny too tho , they move him around so much they can't double him. Perfect scheme for beckham

Maybe it is just me but it seems that he, ODB, goes out of his way to make the one hand catches when he could just as easily do it with one hand.

For some reason that would irk me if he was on my team as it seems like he is more interested in trying to make the sportscenter spot instead of making sure he uses both hands,.

Granted he normally makes the catch but it is the principal of the thing.

It's a miracle what scheme and creativity can do for an elite talent. We lack it. Dez does need to focus more but the entire season has been a disaster.

He is a bit of a show off. But if he were a Cowboy doing those things, there would be mass this

Boy, it sure does bother you when someone likes someone on the team.

I mean why in the world would a group of cowboys fans like what a Cowboy player does? Craziness I tell you...craziness.

It doesn't bother me if our fans like someone on the team, it is what they are supposed to do.

I am just pointing out that people dislike Beckham for what he does, but if the shoe were on the other foot, it would be acceptable.

Dez is doing the same thing he did in college this season, checking out. I remember the TT/OSU game where it was a battle between who was better Crabtree or him and Crabs and TT killed them and he shut it down in that game.

Now Dez could have 120 catches per season and be the most electrifying player in the league if we had a real innovative offense. IMO our whole offense is bored!

Because he would be a person on this team ...Holy Smokes...A fan of a team likes a member of team...someone stop the press...oh noes...can we get a witness

And I have seen you get irritated by fans of this team liking someone working for this team. You and your BFF have had many snide Remarks if anyone shows any care for someone Like McClay. So Yes...it does bother you if our fans like someone on the team.

This kid has snatched Dez's spot as the next goat receiver.

His grace catching balls millimeters from the sideline only magnifies Dez's overall sloppiness.

I love Dez but either Roc Nation or something else has ruined him.

This offseason, he needs to go back to Lufkin and humble himself. Get rid of the silly X celebration, get in tip top condition and come back hungrier than ever. He's lost some of his quick twitch ability IMO. Watch the all-22, he's not running hard on all of his routes...not even 75%.

The way the NFL is making ODB the face of the league has to motivate Dez this offseason!

I confused? What do you mean?

Because he catches the ball?
Because he catches "uncatchable" balls?

Please expound.

There is no reason to get ticked off at Dez. He is a great receiver in his right, he is big strong and he has some speed an quickness. Yes he needs to sharpen his route running mentally and physically, he needs to be sharper in his game mentally, the bottom line is Dez needs to complete his maturation process, he will get there.

OJ, is and was ready for the NFL, he was groomed by his father. His father taught him all the things he needed to do and be, to be ready. OJ's dad learned from his mistakes, he loved to party would not miss a party. I would always tell him that he did not need to be hanging out with us, but I guess I am part of the blame as to why OJ's dad did not make it to the NFL, because I would relent and let him hang out with us when I knew he should have been at home or working out. He would have been a heck of a RB if had made it to the NFL. Anyway it was drilled into OJ what to do and what not to do.

OJ and Antonio Brown are the two best WRs right now, I being related will say OJ is the best and will continue to be as long as he plays, here is a little info, he does not plan on being in the league for long time like the guys that plays for 12, 15 or 20yrs, at least that is what he says now, that could change with more and more success.
Oh, he has a sport drink out now it is called Roar, I is sold in HEB and other stores, right now it is in about 2,000 stores, he also has Nike air max coming out in 2016

A major part of Dez's difficulties are due to his running sloppy routes. Troy Aikman has previously stated this openly. If anyone would be able to recognize that, it would be him.

Dez doesn't possess blazing speed. Not running precise routes only serves to thwart his getting open. Seems to me that WRs Coach Dooley might have corrected that by now.

Here's what scares me about this situation: Romo made millionaires out of Patrick Crayton, Laurent Robinson, Miles Austin, and even Cole Beasley. He'll probably do the same for Terrance Williams soon.

Dez is obviously a better receiver, but by how much? You watch him run his lazy routes, with very little burst or speed, and you wonder just how "great" he is, as opposed to how great Romo makes him.

How different would that new contract look if not for Romo?
