How did the source go from an "unnamed person who talks to Owens teammates" to a member of the team - Jason Witten? I'm not buying it. IT IS ALL FABRICATED!!! Even the crap about Witten's agent, where is the proof? And supposedly the song "Backstabbers" was playing in the background when Gurode and Williams confronted Witten? And who is telling these reporters all this stuff almost immediately after it happens? This is all bull. I won't believe it until I see some concrete evidence. Until then, I say to America: CONSIDER YOURSELVES SUCKED!!!

I am buying the Jimmy Sexton route. Not neccesarliy Witten, but Sexton to Werder via Witten is what I am buying.

Someone just leaked what Garrett and the receivers talked about.

I don't think Owens would tell Witten to never talk to him again just because Witten is "the favorite target".

Fielded some emails Sat afternoon form a few bitter eagle fan friends of mine. See I told you so its just a matter of time ********* etc.

I'll use my response to them here.

Do you think Giants fans wish they had Burress playing tonight? I do.
Gun charge, pending trial and all. No doubt in my mind they would.

My point is that this is not a problem!

Owens tearing his hamstring and being lost for the season is a problem, this isn't. Owens will be their tonight catching passes, Witten will be their tonight catching passes.

That's all that matters.

Little drama here, a little controversy there, who cares.

Not me. All I care about is those players taking the field and making plays.

And just for the record, I'll take great players capable of making great plays who on occasion create controversy over plays who suck that don't.
