Says the supposed fan that is outright rooting for Dak to be horrible.
You want to lose so you can blame Dak and thump your chest.
So now we openly and blatantly call out individual members and belittle them as "supposed" fans? Wow, unbiased opinions sure are interesting in the CZ these days. Might as well just paint a sign saying 'open season' on those people some disagree with.

And here is a prime example.
This guy would rather go 0-17 than the team have 12 wins. People don't enjoy the ride. They want the participation trophy at the end of the day. Otherwise they want to take their ball and go home.
...or perhaps some are tired of the last 27 years which end in playoff failure....and perhaps some would rather blow it up so as to play long ball by way of getting premium draft picks (perhaps a QB) to elevate this team back to the SB. That is their opinion and instead of being belittled and slammed for it perhaps just engage in dialogue.

I noticed it. Same people in many multiple threads saying the same thing over and over.
To be fair, a small number of members repeatedly post the same thing regardless of positive, negative or neutral context. CowboysZone has tens of thousands of members but the daily number of actively posting members is less than a hundred. On some days it is well under a hundred. Just another example of 'noise' equalling volume over actual quantity.

If you provide excellent service to a person, they'll tell 3 people about it. If you provide TERRIBLE service, they'll tell 15 people about it. That's how it's always been.
People now days go public. There is a site called Nextdoor Neighbor. They speak about the things going on in the community. I saw a post a year ago about a restaurant. It was over the top malicious. I replied and asked if the person who made it if she called the restaurant about the mix up of an order. And I have been to and ordered food to go from the restaurant for years. The lady stated she didn't even call them. So now those fifteen people, who read her comments, will think these guys are crapola. But it is more than fifteen people because it is public. And if she had given them a shot at fixing it, she might have been surprised how well they are with customer service.

All because she ran right out to tell the world they didn't give her the cheese bread she ordered with her egg plant parmigiana. Seriously, she wrote three paragraphs ripping them over this tragedy.

And what makes you think the same culprits who can't get it right now will somehow grow a brain and get it right after blowing it up and submerging this team for another four years or so in hope of assembling a team that can go all the way? And what if, the team here now is just a player or so away from the golden ticket, and your blowing it up crushed the glory tomorrow might bring?

This team won 24 games in the last two years. So just tear up your toys because you are unhappy. Thank you for validating my point. I appreciate your assistance.

It is possible that you are self-projecting an incorrect perception of what you are reading on this site. Perhaps it would be better to take a sampling, for example, of 10 - 20 fellow members' current posts. Just one post each within a thread of a topic. Then research a comment on the same topic from 2-5 years ago posted by each specific member. And then assess whether the posts are similar or different in presentation by that individual. A notable difference between posts made by a single poster over time would support your generalization. Similarities would not support a change in expressed personal opinion.

The site's search feature is limited but there is at least one method of extending searches back in time. It is a tedious process but doable.
Do tell!

If i see something that might later be of value.....bookmarked.

Much love to the fans that are always positive, and much love to the fans that are tired of being mislead and letdown by this team.

It's refreshing to see your feelings on display as long as they're not going against forum rules. The days of high praise for this team, has decreased and I've seen fans on here recently say how they feel. We're no longer optimistic about this team.

Expressing our feelings doesn't mean we're not cowboys fans, it just means we're tired of being tired!! There's players on this team who aren't living up to their contract, owner's that aren't living up to a winning atmosphere!

Money has to be second to winning and being successful, say how you feel cowboys fans! Say it proud!!!
Just different ways of looking at things. I used to get pissed off at the team when I was younger. Then when my head was under the gun I realized that fans weren't gonna change anything. So, my perspective changed. Don't get me wrong, I have eyes and I see what you see, I just don't let it rile me up anymore.

Now, some of you guys rile me up!!!!
LOL...

So you dismiss someone's frustration over Jerry's running of the team the last 27 years with no success all while telling me to "tear up my toys because you are unhappy".......yeah, interesting seeing as how you posted earlier about how vitriolic this board and society has become.....careful throwing that stone in your glass house.

On our most successful season in a long time. 2 years making playoffs in a row in a long time. Fans are getting dumber.
That isn't the bar. Not even close. So that is a source of frustration.

Going into FA and knowing we won't sign any big name players. That is a source of frustration.

The ownership says they want Zeke back and don't see a drop off in his play. That is a source of frustration.

Knowing we don't have a QB capable of winning a super bowl. That is a source of frustration.

Fans aren't getting any dumber at all. They are seeing things in 20/20 without any problems.

Did you actually read my first comment in this thread? It appears you did not.

I certainly stand behind the sentiment when talking about the brain trust of this team. They are culpable because of their decisions.

Does this look like I absolve the people who are the final decision makers? Reading is fundamental.

Gonna be extremely hard to grasp for a lot, but oh well...
GM, HC and QB1 are the key to NFL success.

I am NOT a big fan of any of these current titleholders of the Dallas Cowboys.

I STILL am a hard-core fan despite not caring for these 3.

My posts probably could reflect some type of negativity at one or all 3 at some point.

I STILL root for the team.

And I could care less what supposed pollyanna superfan tries to tell me in regulating fanhood.

Feels like this team is 9-8 all the time. Good enough to compete for a playoff spot but not serious contenders to actually compete for a SB. They are so frustrating in how they build, good enough to keep the money flowing in but too scared to take a chance and maybe make some real noise in the playoffs. Oh No the igglets may have a down year after building a team that made it to the SB and lost, boo hoo. Howie having success building multiple teams and I hate it. If the Giants make it back before the cowboys, or god forbid the wash team, just shows you the jonses priorities really are. They don't care about winning, never have.
