That isn't the bar. Not even close. So that is a source of frustration.

Going into FA and knowing we won't sign any big name players. That is a source of frustration.

The ownership says they want Zeke back and don't see a drop off in his play. That is a source of frustration.

Knowing we don't have a QB capable of winning a super bowl. That is a source of frustration.

Fans aren't getting any dumber at all. They are seeing things in 20/20 without any problems.

I don't think Dak is bad but he has shown tendencies to play his worst late in the season and that is why you probably hear it. Also he was born into a system that gave years of some of the best talent. Just because last year was lean doesn't mean the 5 before that when he was stacked were.

Mahomes doesn't win by himself but he elevates his team. They lost a top weapon, replaced him with FAs and rookies and he still made it work. You don't go to a AFCCG every year on luck.

Overall I'm not sure what people get up in arms with disappointed fans. If you saw the 70s-90s where is was SB or bust you cried with losses than almost 3 decades of nothing and people accepting 12-5 as a banner then it gets frustrating. It's that simple. The bar is low to a lot of people.

For myself, a sort of psychological divorce has taken place between me and the Dallas Cowboys. Nothing too melodramatic, just not allowing any emotional baggage as a Cowboys fan to distract me from the reality at hand. The Cowboys have done absolutely nothing this off-season to show me that they are going to do anything radically different than what they've done since the last SB.

In other words, they let firepower slip away and upgraded the defense and the blocking. Its what made the difference.

Without that Oline to protect Mahomes in the SB it would have been another 9 point stinker of a loss for Mahomes and the Chiefs.

90% of the people on this board dont truly understand football.

60% thought Dak would be a backup or a bus driver after his first year. 50% still think he is an average QB. 70% thought Zeke was a top 5 RB up until this year. 95% thought a few years ago that Pollard was nothing more than a scat back and Zeke was much better. 99% thought Pollard couldnt pass block.

60% thought Garrett was a good coach and supported him. 50% thought lamb wasnt a true #1 was just a #2 type WR. 80% wanted Pitts over Parsons. Ect.....ect..........

The fan base is tired of Jerry. The fans show up and buy more merchandise than any other NFL team and Jerry refuses to upgrade the team in FA. Maybe if he wasn’t in the media 24/7 fans would feel differently. The guy is cheap and only cares about selling tickets.

At the end of the day this gives us all something to do that we love. *****, moan, smile, be happy does it matter? We enjoy all of it imo. We all love the combine, we all love the draft, we all love the chase during the season. That is what it is all about again imo. I have plenty in my life that gives me great satisfaction, this is one of those things.
