Weird. I've purchased all of the music I own, and most of it is from bands/albums since the Metallica/Napster days. Including Metallica albums. I've even had FB message conversations with super local bands finding out how to buy physical media from them.
IM not exactly sure your point... but look here for reality of music industry after Napster. Im guilty.

Music sales decline

they are making a little money. Those streams all come from people paying for the games from other countries and streaming them. Its kind of like password sharing for streaming services. I am sure most of the people watching the streams are not people who would ever actually pay for the product at any price.
lol... i can promise you that is nonsense. A boatload of people stealing illegally would absolutely be paying if they had to.

the league is supposed to give in to people illegally streaming their games? smh, you guys are unreal.
Do you think that te grocery stores should cut their prices down to levels low enough to make shoplifters stop stealing product? You think Nordstrom's should lower prices low enough to keep those flash mobs from stealing all that product?
There's always going to be theft. Because there's always someone poor enough. But the higher you price your product, the more likely someone is going to try to offer it cheaper. That 28 billion number they gave out is a joke. It's assuming people would purchase their product if illegal streams didn't exist.

Didn't this NFL go through this with their jerseys? The whole Chinese knockoffs. I have about 6 of them myself. They do a great job at mimicking NFL jerseys. Now they're down to 150 bucks each. That's cheaper than they were before.

I won't blame the NFL for wanting everyone to pay top dollar for their product. But lets not pretend that their pricing isn't the reason for most of this. And I'm not so sure it's a bad thing that there are entities out there offering other options. There are pros and cons to it.

Yup, Walmart jerseys are always a good option.

Well.... Lars was right. Illegal downloads have decimated new music. Bands simply make zero profit from making new music.... so they dont.
2nd... if a dude was so poor he was eating ramen so he could watch football, he shouldnt have been watching football... he should have been at work.
Some people don’t get the same jobs or have the same situation as you or me. And yeah the downloads cut off some of there millions. They adapted and got the money going. Lars won’t be eating ramen.

"I'm guilty"

lol. Self own I guess

I'll pay for the service I want. I won't pay when it's not an option. I'll even make extra effort when needed to secure the service I want. WEIRD I guess. The NFL has so many stupid streaming/broadcast agreements that suck they can't provide a good service even at extraordinary cost.

I don't know what money they make off me. I have several adblocker programs I *pay for*. The NFL literally does not offer the service I would pay for. Get it through your thick skull
You cant be this dumb? I understand what you rpoint is. You want to watch the NFL games of your choice for free. Regardless of the fact that doing so is illegal because YOU dont get to chose how the NFL delivers their product.

Ive said multiple times, im no moralist, but just admit that you are stealing... get THAT through your thick skull.

well you know what, I have a corvette, but I dont have the newer C8, I cant afford one. So since Chevy simply prices the Vette at a ridiculous price, I should just go steal one off their lot. Then, if they finally decide to bring their prices down to "Reasonable levels," I will actually pay for one. So get woth it Chevy, lower your prices, or Im gonna take it... and it is your fault Chevy for being greedy.

Probably one of the worst analogies I’ve heard.

Lars wont, but other bands will. Are you saying that those less fortunate have a built in excuse to steal the product?

I bet you think very differetly about all those involved in flash mobs running through high dollar stores???

you dont want to pay.... you want to pay what YOU think is a fair price. But in the society we live in, the customer doesnt get to tell the seller what the fair price is. Its the other way around. If you wanted to pay, you would pay.

I said I'd pay a higher price than is currently demanded by sunday ticket for the service I want. You're daft. The service I want doesn't exist.

honestly watching hockey made me realize how much i hate watching nfl games now.
3yd play, 5 minutes commercials, half a drive 5 min commercials, commercials before kickoff - commercials afterkick off.
Meanwhile hockey you get basically a barely interrupted 20min session with a 15 min break. To think I’ll pay for extra games to have half my time sitting through commercials is a no for me, meanwhile itll be a pirates life for me.
Thank you for making this point. They want you to pay hundreds of dollars only for them to shovel unsolicited advertisements down your throat nonstop. Insanity
