Jason Garrett and his coaching staff will be at Alabama on Wednesday to meet with the high number of draft-eligible Crimson Tide players, putting them through a workout similar to the one the Cowboys did with the Ohio State players, including Ezekiel Elliott, leading up to the 2016 draft.

Boise State linebacker Leighton Vander Esch will be among the Cowboys’ top-30 national visitors prior to the draft. Vander Esch is seen as a potential middle of the first round pick. The Cowboys, who select No. 19, have a need at linebacker with the loss of Anthony Hitchens. Since 2004, the Cowboys’ first draft pick has visited the team prior to the draft every year but 2005 (DeMarcus Ware) and 2012 (Morris Claiborne).
