The official hang Bledsoe thread

Finally some of the people here support Bledsoe, I am still surprise so many people are reading to give up on the vet, bc of one game. The way I look at it, you guys have one more good season with Bledsoe, then it is all Romo.
If you guys lose tomorrow night watch for the Campbell threads and calls too.

It's the nature of fandom.

Keep in mind, many and I do mean many have been Bledsoe detractors before todays game.

Great QBs dont play for three different teams in their careers.

Don't forget the two that were dropped by Jacksonville. He should have had 5 Ints today, six if you count the one that was taken back. For those saying you wouldn't want to lose with an inexperienced QB because of the mistakes he might make, I don't see how you expect to live with a veteran making the same mistakes.

I expect to live because it is just a football game.

I don't know how you get to six INTs. The first one was too many especially considering when it came.

Jerry and Bill put Dallas in the position to have either Bledsoe or Romo as the QB. You have to root for both guys because those are the only current options. Neither option looks too great, yet still looks better than Vinny T.

I am not a Bledsoe fan. I think he is what he is. A good QB, but not a great QB. If you don't have a great QB, then you better have a darned good, not average offensive line and a dominant defense. This offsenive line is average at best and the defense still needs to step it up to be considered dominant. Romo is such an unknown that I think you still need a good O-line and great defense.

Yeah good point, come to think about I am always one of those "fans of reason" at our boards. I know those threads would come out, if that is the case. I mean those threads are already there bc of the preseason.

We've been seeing those all preseason. But they largely consist of crap like "OMG 4 real we need to start Campbull cuz Broonell is old and sux lolz". No real thought or analysis why....

Plunkett played for 4 and has 2 Super Bowl victories.

He played for three teams, the Pats, the 49ers and the Raiders. He was just a guy at QB. The rest of the team carried the Raiders to victory.

I dunno. Not after the way that guy played this summer :D .

Surprisingly he did play better than Brunell, hard to notice anything good out of those games huh?

Ok, now that everyone has tiptoed around complimenting Romo it is about time he gets some love. Yes, Bledsoe does suck at times, especially today. But Romo moved the ball better, in the preseason, than any quarterback since Troy’s rookie year. He looked VERY GOOD to me. Yes, I know he is the second string QB and everybody thinks the backup is great, blah, blah, blah. But it appeared to me that Romo actually has something. Really. His only problem is that he isn’t very good in the redzone but he will get much better with experience. Give the guy a chance.

Playing 'better than Brunell' this summer hardly qualifies as 'good'.

But, but, but, all we need is a bus driver.
a bus driver would be sufficient.

drew crashed it within minutes of an hour long trip.

Way to make a statement and not back it up with anything.

Kudos.

Dont think I have seen Bledsoe this inaccurate for awhile.. To tell you the truth I think he got tired. First two drives he looked great. Then nothing. I also think the first guy he should look to is Owens. It seems Witten and Glenn need time to get open.

But my main guess is Fatigue over the humidity. If TO is sucken air then that has to say something about what it was like there.

Its only week 1 people. Got 15 games to go.

Edit : I think it was Steve Young that said all QBs have alteast 3 or 4 bad games a year.

back up what?

you're on your "we need an elite qb" nonsense when in fact bus drivers have won superbowls and many playoff games for years and years.

troy was a bus driver in norv's offense (remove our OL, emmit/michael and our D and he'd never have a ring sorry).

drew CRASHED the frikin bus after the 1st TD. any backup could have kept this game close, if not taken an easy victory today ringing up the Jags for point after point (even with another gimp at K).

I felt like an eagles fan today watching the superbowl. :(

I felt like we had a chance to win today.

Not sure an Eagle fan would feel that way about a super bowl.

Even a blind chicken gets a piece of corn now and then.

Troy was not a bus driver. That's ridiculous. Yes, I'm still on my elite QB trip and I won't change my opinion on it. Don't like it, don't read it.
