I'm not going to reply to the many posts in this thread, because I don't have that much time to waste, although I do have some time for Rack.

Now Rack, let's talk about your 'persona.'

Why is it that you come on the internet, on a freakin' Cowboys message board to pass along your internet hardass routine? Your arguments are pathetic, you curse at people who oppose you in arguments, and you try and downgrade them as if it makes your argument look better.

Lets start from back in the day, were you the fat kid at the end of the playground that ended up face down in the dirt and his milk money going to the playground bully?

Seriously man, it's idiotic. I've seen you on two different boards with the same tired old routine. On one board, you're 'badass' routine got you banned and yet you bring the same thing here and it's pathetic. What exactly do you prove by trying to act hard on an internet message board? Discuss the freakin' topic civil or ****. Is that beyond your realm of thinking?

But instead of poking at Zimmer's every fault, why not look at the positives. Like the years he brough top 10 defenses with the likes of Kavika Pittman, Brandon Noble, Darren Hambrick, Charlie Williams, etc., starting. Oh wait, that doesn't count.

Or maybe we can talk about the defense two years ago that single handidly got us into the playoffs while our offense was running out the likes of Joey Galloway, Quincy Carter and Troy *** Hambrick.

But what, it isn't even that last year we had no edge pass rushers, and 3 of the worst cover men in the NFL, but Zimmer was still completely at fault. But hey, you saw Parcells pointing the finger, right? I mean, if Parcells thought Zimmer was that incompetent, why not fire him last year and bring in a 3-4 guy that can play to the advantages of the scheme. By calling Zimmer an idiot, you're calling BP the same for letting Zimmer stick around for 3 years as well. Does everyones opinion of Zimmer hold more value than that of the legend Bill Parcells who has just a LITTLE more football knowledge of that of an internet armchair QB?

I mean, look at how Zimmer contained LT and Portis the first two weeks.

Did anyone mention how Zimmer's gameplan took LT completely out of the game? The constant blitzing up the middle made LT become a blocker, not letting him run out of the backfield giving Brees another receiving target. Instead, we talked about how Keenan McCardell torched us.

Instead of last week talking about for how 3 and 1/2 quarters we held Portis and Brunell in check, why our offense squandered opportunity after opportunity, we talk about two plays on how Zimmer was incompetent.

Lets talk about how Zimmer shutdown that for most of the game. Lets talk about how besides in blitzing situations Zimmer played a 2 deep zone to talk Moss completely out of the game. Lets talk about how the two times he went into a cover 4 (quarters zone) were no one is supposed to get beat deep cost us. Lets talk about how incompetent Roy was not playing his part of the field in the defense. Instead, it's Zimmer needs to be fired.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not hung from Zimmer's nutsack. He got his arse handed to him in the 1st half yesterday. But let's be honest, the San Francisco line was absolutely kicking our *** up front. The front 4 was generating ZERO pressure and we couldn't leave Henry on an island. Everytime we let it happen, he got beat deep.

But Zimmer being the idiot he is adjusted at halftime, and held the San Francisco offense in check in the 2nd half allowing 7 points, that only thanks to the idiocy of 4th and 1 in our own territory.

That's what gets me, it's constantly all the negatives and never the positives. Get the **** over it, the guy isn't going anywhere. Support him and go on with your sad lives and in the offseason, maybe Santa will crap in your stocking and give you want you want.

These 'Fire Zimmer' threads are growing as old as the Quincy vs. Hutch debate of years past. It's just plain ********.
