he broke his thumb and many...myself included thought our season was over. You saw him in that kind of game in the first game of the season.. how'd that one turn out?
you mean the 1st game with the worse gameplan known to man against a fresh and very good TB team with great defense at the time with NEW OL, new WR core, and the run game working and Moore does what Moore does that got him let go,, you cannot go full pass happy in game 1 with brand new look on Offense that needed to settle in with new rookie lT that was supposed to be the LG when Tyron gets hurt, Mcgivern first time starter now at LG who was supposed to be the backup, and Steel first time starting RT . Lamb starting for the first time as the #1 , Gallup out, with NO cooper, ced, turner etc etc. with little PS or camp, practice with a new group. zekes running well at 5.2 YPC 10-52 and you only give him 2 carries the 2nd half and Pollard 6 carried for 8 yards, once again underutilized and lack of design BY MOORE.You saw him in that kind of game in the first game of the season.. how'd that one turn out?
I'd bet that many fans don't even watch the games, but instead look at the box score and base an opinion off what they see in the stats. That, and fans are either happy or sad based off how their Fantasy Football did on that particular weekend.Amen!!!!!!! But this is what they love to gauge him off of in here ksk, stats stats stats, what about balance and how is lack of athletic ability made us game plan around his inabilities!! With Dak he said I get it, but of course I knew that would last about a week

He's a back up for a reason. There will be no completion unless it's on the practice squad. Seriously, Rush wasn't that good.I am on record right now that Rush has earned the right to have open competition in camp for the starting job. Im not a fan of this years QB crop in the draft. Not sure I would draft a guy. Maybe a 7th on Duggan.
he was good enough. I trust him. He's a back up for a reason. There will be no completion unless it's on the practice squad. Seriously, Rush wasn't that good.
The game passed Parcells completely by. His offensive philosophy was no longer suited for the NFL and he tried to keep Bledsoe in as long as he could. Parcells sat in Seattle with their backup DBs, because he was timid as far as offensive philosophy. Romo basically came in and saved his career here, as even Giants players had to come down and be on the sidelines in his support. You can go back to the Parcells days. He wanted Romo to be a "bus driver", which is where the phrase came from in these parts. When he said it, it was rather inflammatory and a lot of people disagreed.
There is some level of nuance here. This isn't saying that the team doesn't want to score points. What it is really saying is that a team taking on this philosophy is going to try to mitigate risk. Focus on ball control and minimizing turnovers versus what Dallas did this year.
Its no coincidence that Parcells publicly criticized Dallas' offense this year. And yes, there are a lot of people who disagree with this philosophy but Parcells is no fool.
And yes, a LOT of people complained about Dink and Dak. They lost in the playoffs in their first game after going 13-3 but look at the score. It was 34-31 and Dallas went down a quick 21-3. If you put this defense with that team, it makes the super bowl IMHO.
He benefited from a healthy roster around him. He did very little. The scoring offensive rankings were rock bottom.he was good enough. I trust him.
while the numbers don't lie, if the Cowboys could win a Super Bowl by being the "Baltimore Ravens circa 2001 2.0" I'd take it. hahahHe benefited from a healthy roster around him. He did very little. The scoring offensive rankings were rock bottom.
Imagine getting upset because people celebrated Dak having a good game. Oh you're benched nevermind is probably for the best.95% of people were defending Dak before the Divisional playoff game rubbing it in our faces how good he was against the Bucs. Sure for a short time after the Divisional game some more people turned on him but most of them are right back on the bandwagon or will be by next season.
So did Jeff George and Jamarcus Russell ..Purdy has the arm for the NFL game. Rush does not.
.....may want to go back and view TRomo games......as heroic as he was at times, interceptions were part of the reason for comeback attempts, alot. Right now Dak is performing just as TRomo performed many times......up & down. OC removed, so Dak and Kellen Moore no longer are connected to suspect one or the other is to blame. We will see.In most of Romo's post Parcells years he didn't have the defense to simply drive the bus. Plus he had a horrific HC to deal with.
To Romo's credit he kept improving his craft and was an elite level QB by the time the injuries took their toll.
Dak is in regression. He hasn't improved his game mentally or physically
Dak Haters lower the Bar for entry when it comes to Cooper Rush...they ignore 6 Training Camps, 6 OTAs, 6 QB Schools 6 Mini camps etc of Rush's inability to EARN a starting QB1 job....He's a back up for a reason. There will be no completion unless it's on the practice squad. Seriously, Rush wasn't that good.
The combination of Rush and Purdy is that you just dont need an elite QB to succeed. Yes there's a drop off (with Rush), but we were able to scheme a gameplan....take this a stage further and the savings on Dak (June 2024) to the tune of $34m could help facilitate contract extensions AND use some of the existing $79m to improve the roster.Purdy has the arm for the NFL game. Rush does not.
those fans look at box score when convenient to their argument, and then dig into plays, routes, etc. when its convenient.I'd bet that many fans don't even watch the games, but instead look at the box score and base an opinion off what they see in the stats. That, and fans are either happy or sad based off how their Fantasy Football did on that particular weekend.
“Rubbing in your faces” how good the QB for your team played. Do you realize how ****ed up your perspective is?95% of people were defending Dak before the Divisional playoff game rubbing it in our faces how good he was against the Bucs. Sure for a short time after the Divisional game some more people turned on him but most of them are right back on the bandwagon or will be by next season.
we didn't game plan with Rush, we leaned on Defense to carry the day. Rush got progressively worse and very fast. his last two games were atrocious. against the Rams he had the worst performance of any QB in the league in 2022. yet we won, becaue defense scored once, dominated the Rams, and got the offense another 3 points with another turnover. 76 yards of next passing ain't going to get you many wins in the league. The combination of Rush and Purdy is that you just dont need an elite QB to succeed. Yes there's a drop off (with Rush), but we were able to scheme a gameplan....take this a stage further and the savings on Dak (June 2024) to the tune of $34m could help facilitate contract extensions AND use some of the existing $79m to improve the roster.
That's the Dak fan for you. They know the context but conveniently ignore it so that they can prop up this guy. Why? Who the hell knows. Please the eagles didn't show up for Daks game and you know it
