The PJG!

Lime....hmmm? Maybe a thanks, will find out.

It works like this....

pre and post war blues, or pre and post 1941.

Them prewar blues is very much about regions...

Mississippi Delta .....all blues from Miss gets stuck there
Memphis
Texas
Alabama
St.Louis
Louisiana
Georgia
Piedmont/East Coast

Each region has those artists who best represent that region.

Then we have the obscure, those with only a record or two, the phantoms out of the shadows,

Post war isn't so much about location, because we are pretty much talking about Chicago and Detroit blues.

A few ya need to hear,,,,

Charley Patton.....in a word, unique,
Bessie Smith
Robert Johnson
Blind Lemon Jefferson, his Black Snake Moan a classic
Muddy Waters
Howlin' Wolf
Jimmy Reed
Lightnin' Hopkins
This is a wonderful list! I know some, but not all.

It's all out there and easy to find, and there are tons of books, I own 12.

Them old blues is simply something else, I pretty much have it all, hell added some more today.

Lurking and plotting. Someone keeps mentioning my position and that makes clandestine activities harder. I think I'll put Ex-lax in his chocolate milk.

Ironically, the kinda-clandestine activity of putting Ex-Lax in his chocolate milk should inevitably make clandestine activity much easier and more effective!

Sometimes I smoke other things. Cheese is hard to keep lit, though. Hey, did you ever chomp on Slim Jims, emulating Clint Eastwood in those old spaghetti westerns?
I haven't touched a Slim Jim since I left one in a hot car while making a sales call years ago. I came back out and saw it laying there like something out of a horror movie with all of this orange stuff oozing out of it. I didn't even want to touch the wrapper to toss it.

I'll easily eat stuff that is questionable, health wise, but after seeing that, Slim Jims were verboten and I loved the things.

I chomp on cigars, too. I just don’t swallow them…
