That may be true, but unless you have a time machine, its a moot point. We live in the now. Reality is we cannot do what he is asking us to do. My guess is he will sign a 4 year deal with us or get tagged and traded just before the draft.

Dan Quinn gives us SOME hope at least, that he can improve this disaster of a defense.I highly doubt Atlanta gave him a say in the draft room so he could get his guys in there. I am hoping Jerry and Stephen allow him some say come draft day and free agency. If not, your right..it will be wash rinse repeat.

they're not holding the team hostage, it's Dak taking the risk by wanting a shorter deal. they should just give it to him, and at the end of the deal, if they feel he's not worth it move on. if he makes it to a super bowl or win , then he probably deserves a new one anyways. just give him the deal, and say you got 4 more years to get it done or we're out if we're not satisfied.

Why do you think the deal isn't fair. he just want the shorter deal, by most accounts, to me its a win for both. if he doesn't satisfy then in 4 years, it's probably time to walk anyways. that's 9 years.
