We are getting 3 rookies ready to start and 1 2nd year man that is now healthy.

I would start Barham in the middle and let Overshown play the other linebacker spot, then let Overshown take over for Barham in the middle on 3rd and long. I would have Barron as the other coverage linebacker in with Overshown some as well. On obvious passing downs at times.

I agree with that, I just see players playing with great effort and hustle, and this has not always been the case here. This is Parker teaching the importance of effort and hustle along with his expertise with alignment and disguise. With these backups playing well for Parker, I can't wait to see the starters that is what I am saying . This defense is being coached up unlike last year.

The Cowboys didn't start about the same number.

It's not the final score that is impressive. It's that our 2's and 3's whipped their 2's and 3's including the super bowl champs. These are games the Cowboys typically look like complete crap and get outplayed at every turn. Not this year.

Well said, this coaching staff has these players playing with maximum effort, Barham is an impressive looking player out there. Barham looks to have good instincts. Joe Milton looks crisp, this is good coaching. I'm watching the game for the 3rd time now , good start and good vibes for the season.

I read the Cardinals did not play 34 players yesterday. So do not get too excited about preseason.

And Dallas did not play 36 of their players. It's not like we beat them up with our ones on their twos and threes.

Yeah it is backups vs backups basically, but if your backups look good, then it is a sign of good coaching.
If the coaches can coach the ones as good then the team should look better in the real games.

Winning games in the PS is rather meaningless though. We have to wait and see what the real team looks like in real games.

I think the NYG game will be a tough close game,as Harbaugh will have his team ready, and will want to beat the cowboys in that first game.
The ravens game in Rio will be tough due to the travel, and they are same level as cowboys.
After that things will be more normal.
So dont expect dallas to be great those first 2 games, I just hope they can win both.

Just cut or trade all the players that have not played in the preseason.
-They can win for cheap.
- Think of all the cap space.
- Think of all the 7th round picks they could get...

Barham, Revel, Milton, Overton, Davis, Mafah, Abanacanda and Blue looked good. Wheat looked good bull rushing with power off of the edge. Jay Toia was hustling from the nose guard spot, Dallas as a team dominated there man straight up last night.

I have not watched any preseason games, but it always has driven me crazy with the amount of unnecessary penalties this team has made such as lining up offsides, illegal formations ect.
I will be thrilled if we can eliminate shooting ourselves in the foot with such sloppy play.

Said in another post but will say it again. Four penalties all game. I think three of them came in first half. Shows they are being coached well. However, we also unfortunately played Arizona. They might not even win a game this year.
