Suppose for a minute this kid does sue. There are 2 key questions in my mind.
1. How was he damaged? There were no injuries, no lost wages, no irreparable harm to his reputation... he was a little embarrassed. Are courts going to start giving out big settlements every time someone gets embarrassed?
2. He signed on to be a security guard to deal with behavior at an event. What kind of precedent would it set if every security guard could sue people they were already being compensated to deal with? If the guard received some irreparable harm, I get it, but in the scope of the kinds of things a security guard is hired to deal with, this was a minor incident.
