No one would trade for Rush. No one even picked him up for free when the Cowboys waived him. He has no trade value. My biggest problem is why haven't they tried to trade Rush yet?

Or the 49ers simply made a horrific mistake. Preseason is not like the regular season, so Dallas is not going to find out how he plays when the games count until he plays when the game counts. Pickett and Fields have significantly more playing time than Lance and were acquired for significantly less than Lance. Jerry Jones should have been able to acquire him for less than a 4th round draft pick.Lance has a higher ceiling than Fields.
That’s why he was chosen over him.
Lance broke his leg and his throwing hand.Or the 49ers simply made a horrific mistake. What does that have to do with now? The Cowboys need to use him in regular season games to understand how much he can help the team. Injured or healthy he has practiced and watched enough. It’s time to play or he will remain an unknown quantity. If not now, when?Lance broke his leg and his throwing hand.
Stupid move by the Bears. They saw the shiny new toy in CW, and threw the older model away for nothing. Should've waited till camp to see if there are injuries across the league. Nobody has incentive to make a move with a strong QB draft coming up. Why send assets for a guy when you can use those picks to bring in somebody younger and cheaper? It's another story when there's no draft to fall back on and your guy goes down. The compensation that idiot gave up for Lance becomes more ridiculous as more deals are made. Fields traded for a conditional 6th round pick that becomes a fourth only if he plays 51% of the snaps.
Different years and many more former 1st rounders available. The compensation that idiot gave up for Lance becomes more ridiculous as more deals are made. Fields traded for a conditional 6th round pick that becomes a fourth only if he plays 51% of the snaps.
Trey Lance is our next QB1 for a 4th round pick. The compensation that idiot gave up for Lance becomes more ridiculous as more deals are made. Fields traded for a conditional 6th round pick that becomes a fourth only if he plays 51% of the snaps.
Lance is not likely to be QB1. He right now is competing to be QB2 and then can go anywhere he wants after the season, even if he wins the backup job.Trey Lance is our next QB1 for a 4th round pick.
Convince us that Fields is better?
Whether he succeeds or fails remains to be seen.
Fields has failed and his role as a back-up is pretty much assured.
Lets hope Lance works out for us and we have found our Love at QB.
in arlington they doTeams don't trade for 3rd string QBs
Not now. What does that have to do with now? The Cowboys need to use him in regular season games to understand how much he can help the team. Injured or healthy he has practiced and watched enough. It’s time to play or he will remain an unknown quantity. If not now, when?
Not just the pick.People keep saying that no one was offering more than a 6th round pick for Lance. This is nonsense. If that was the case Jerry wouldn’t have to give up a fourth to get him. He’d just have to outbid the highest bidder. The likely truth is if Jerry gave up a fourth, the next highest bid was a lower fourth or a high fifth.
Think so?Lance is not likely to be QB1. He right now is competing to be QB2 and then can go anywhere he wants after the season, even if he wins the backup job.
So first he will have to win the backup job and then in 2025 win a starting job (somehow) and then manage to be good despite having 1 year of starting experience since High School. That all seems rather unlikely.
Truth.Teams don't trade for 3rd string QBs
By definition, a Phenom. The kid has not played the game. How do you become a good QB, when you don't play?
Played only 1 year in college and has been sitting going on 4+ years. How does potential get developed sitting for 4+ years.
So Wins and Losses are due to the play of the QB. Thanks for confirming. Thanks to Dak! Come on, admit it, or do you prefer the bust named Trey Lance over the proven 12-5 three-peat QB in Dak?
You like winning or losing? Which is it?
No doubt we paid more because we are a conference rival.People keep saying that no one was offering more than a 6th round pick for Lance. This is nonsense. If that was the case Jerry wouldn’t have to give up a fourth to get him. He’d just have to outbid the highest bidder. The likely truth is if Jerry gave up a fourth, the next highest bid was a lower fourth or a high fifth.
playoffs are team records and losses against good teams are team records. dak has never lost a game. I think they might go ahead and put him in the hall while he's playing because he's dak good. "but not against good teams"So Wins and Losses are due to the play of the QB. Thanks for confirming.
Now what's his playoff record?
