You can't go wrong with a Ford F-150. The best full size truck on the planet. Period.

I wish I hadn't traded mine in.

I have a FX4 extended cab with leather interior. I use it for actual work on a regular basis.

Why not get a '09 model? That way you get the new front end.

I still have my '01. Bought it new as a "want" truck. Wanted 5.4 liter, tow-package, sliding glass window, and can't forget 4X4. Haven't been driving it as much lately. It only has 59,600 miles.

That is without a doubt the worst reason to want the '09 model. That new front end is B U S T E D.

I'll take the power and improved fuel economy though.

If it's a possibility, go with the king ranch series, it's more expensive, but well worth it.

I did. It has absolutely beautiful interior, the saddle leather is stunning.

Agreed.

I like the 06-08's.

They down graded in 09 imo.

The interior and its features on the inside are crazy nice though on the 09.

Actually Catch, you would get better gas mileage say, 45-35 City/HWY with the OU F150.

DODGE RAM if you want a REAL truck. I frankly think all too many people by a half ton and really have no good reason to. I have just gotten (did it while I was on vacation in Sept and got a great deal) a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel.
Its my second (traded in my 99). I use it to haul my antique military vehicle and do other things you need a REAL truck for.
Stay away from Fix Or Repair Daily (also known as Found On Road Dead).

I have an Explorer and the only major problem I have ever had with it was a hose busted in 105 degree weather. I'm not saying it's the greatest thing on the road just that I am happy with it haven't had any problems.
