The Truck I want

I love Dodge trucks. I had a 97 3500 Cummins, a 97 1500 Ram. And currently own a 2001 Durango. The only problem I see with Dodge trucks are the transmissions. Definately a weak link IMO

Personally, I like GMCs. They don't fall appart and they run well. I'd take one over anything myself but everybody is different.

Ford F-150? yuck... you'd probably even keep the dealer badge and the dealer license plate brackets on there, wouldn't you...

They are more expensive but they hold resale so I really can't complain.

The dealer plate gets ripped off before I leave the lot. :laugh2:

This is the truck I want. I think the lines on it are the best I have ever seen.

I'd love to add the Cowboys blue and white helmet stripe down the middle and Cowboys stars on each side of that truck.

Toyota makes a damn fine truck. The early 80's Toyota's with the 22r 4 cylinder are some of the best truck ever made.

I've got an '06 Trailblazer now. He says I should've gotten the Envoy. The only GMC I like is the Yukon Denali which is the GMC version of the Escalade.

Since I couldn't afford either, I got the nicer looking car I could afford.

Toyota makes a damn fine truck. The early 80's Toyota's with the 22r 4 cylinder are some of the best truck ever made.

You've got to look at the lines on this truck man. Look at it from the front and see the grille. Check out how the fenders are round and then slant straight down. Front and back match. Check out how the lines of the body follow how the fenders flair out.

You get a chance check out the bed of these trucks. Very well thought out. You get the 6 cylinder with that mini breather scoop and it just looks awesome.

Here's the cab interior.

Give me a 5 speed over this automatic though.

I put 200,000 miles on my truck and decided that it was time to trade it in since the deals were so good. That cummins had another 200,000 miles in it but since I had spent the last 7 winters in upper NY the body was starting to go (partially my fault since I had not renewed the undercoating like I should have). If the deal had not been great I would have been quite content to keep it for a couple more years at least. Frankly a half ton is a yuppie truck anyway. REAL TRUCKS start at 3/4 ton.
