I got tired of seeing multiple threads about one player, all expressing the same thing.

That's an irrational answer. The truth is you like to bad mouth others you disagree with because it makes you feel like an interent tough guy. Your actions do betray your motives.

Can Roy handle the pressure in Dallas?

Seems like a teammate of Roy Williams doesn't think he can handle the pressure on him now that he's a Dallas Cowboy...

Barsky and Gregg - Nov 23, 2009

Interesting. And I wonder if this player is on to something.

We have been waiting on Roy for 11 full weeks (BYE included because they were still practicing) this season to at least fit into the offense where there are no more games where his stat line reads zeros across the board.

Then yesterday happened.

I am not saying Roy needs to put 10 catches every week. Or put up 220 yards receiving every week.

But at this point there should not be games where he puts up nada.

That 'work in progress' excuse is just about done now.

Shouldn't be any pressure now. He's Randal Williams at this point and I highly doubt anyone expects anything from him.

No. He can't handle anything. Not even first down celebrations every 3 games. Irvin should have kicked his *** last season for those. He's terrible and he detracts from my enjoyment of watching every other Dallas Cowboy play. I can't stand him and he needs to ride the couch for the rest of the year.

awesome, another Roy Williams thread.. well I will see you guys on the 20th page of this thread, peace.. Seriously, I can't wait till the bashers have to eat all of their words! It is going to be hilarious

Talk about the message that would send. "I don't care who you are or what you're paid, if you play like this you can go home and then start looking for a job elsewhere." It would be a great move to energize and motivate the team for December and on.

I dont know about pressure, but I know for a fact that he cant handle the ball.

Seriously, it is like in Madden when somebody uses a cheat card "Hands of Stone" against your #1 guy and he cant catch crap for a half.

Except this cheat card used against Roy is going to last forever.:(

Roy Williams is a disgrace to anyone who's started at wide reciever in Dallas. If Irvin was still on the team he would have gotten his *** kicked and sent to whatever league accepts pansys.

Under the CBA a team can only suspend a player for a max of 4 games.

This is the "TO rule" that the Players Union had instituted in the aftermath of Philly suspending TO for the season.

Under what grounds are we to suspend Roy??? He has not violated any team rules or the personal conduct policy of the league. Sucking is not grounds for suspension, thus all we can do is bench him with pay.

You've had too much to drink.

A dragon fan. Well I haven't had anything to drink in response to your thoghtful reply. I tend to steer clear of people who like dragons though. They tend to be top notch geeks.

I think a lot of us can come up with many reasons. But I guess we can always settle for a benching until next year. Then a kick out the door.
