I hate those freakin games! I can't remember which one it was but I couldn't get past the first boss. I gave up.

lol man I’m into it now.. Im going to straight nerd out on this game until I beat it. I just don’t understand why it’s so difficult.

I guess you have to go back to other levels to farm materials to get healing.. I went back through the first level real quick and got a decent amount.

Are you familiar with Shroud of the Avatar, which is supposed to be Lord British spiritual successor to Ultima Online? It has less than stellar reviews and check out some of these prices in the store.

I've heard of it but never played it. The "Sale" prices on there are hilarious. I would ask who is paying over 10K for anything in a game but there are probably people with stupid money who would.

My brother played a lot of Everquest and would sell stuff he acquired for real money. It was frowned upon by a lot of EQ players so he didn't want to make the exchanges with his character. He asked me to make a character just to make these transactions. It was kind of a like a shady, virtual drug deal. I was blown away that people were paying him hundreds of dollars for a sword or something. When he finally quit playing the game, he sold his account for several thousand dollars.

Lol it’s so frustrating.

Does it really send you back to the beginning every time no matter where you die at in the level?

I beat the first boss that has all the little slimy shield blob things around him.

Im already starting to give up on trying to figure out the game
Myself and I’m watching people do tutorials. There is too much going on in this game. Like it will chew you up and spit you out with difficulty but it’s somehow fun.
A game like that would frustrate me to know in. I know I would probably lose patience and quit playing the game. There are a couple of games I stopped playing because I had to restart most of a level because I died accidently or some other way. To me it was a cheap way to make the game longer and harder.

Yeah it’s not pick up and play.. You have to learn a ton.. You just diet over and over but the game forces you to be amazing at it.

I should of sold my characters when i was at the top of my game, but thought i would play EQ forever. I can't even get into my accounts anymore probably hacked/stolen, i tried to follow the process but never regained access.

Sceptre of destruction from sleepers tomb was a good sell if you're server wasn't dropping them anymore.

Anyone get the xbox series x? Worth it? I don't really use my xbox one or any game console anymore but still have a itch to buy this thing even though i probably won't use it that much. Guess i should wait for price to drop in future.
An absolute powerhouse so far. Just need to have the right TV setup etc and gamepass. But I'm really enjoying it. The true test is when games are optimized for the specs

Wait for the drop. It's a really fast Xbox One. There really aren't many games right now either.

I want to x2 this. I'm absolutely loving mine. The quick resume is masterful. Games load quick and play so smooth on it. Outside of Cold War crashing my Xbox (and this is happening to people across PS5, PC, and Xbox) mine has been humming along like a fine tuned machine.

Oh, not to mention I cannot express to you how much I love the new controller. The subtle changes were in all the right places and it just feels nice to game with.

Yep, CoD has shut off mine 3 times and caused numerous audio bugs and glitches. It has been the only hiccup so far for me. Even Creed runs excellent.

Couple of screenshots from Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition which released about a year ago. Sadly the Hard AI rolled over me and a friend

Got some practice in this morning! Getting used to the what's what of the game. Man, I forgot how many things there are to juggle in this game. I think next time I'm going to have a tighter/more organized village.

You're younger than I am but obviously have a good head on your shoulders. Better than I had in my younger years. My unsolicited advice is to stick to one system and with your friends because that will matter the most in the long run. Don't spend the coin on both. I know you and your wife had a new baby somewhat recently, how is he/she doing?

The wife and baby are doing well man. No issues or problems. Healthy little chunky baby girl. She’s a cutie.

thank you for asking.

Big Indiana Jones fan here too. I've been kind of purposely stayed away because I know that's all I will be doing. I'm an all or nothing kind of guy,

Smart thinking. Some games...... you just can’t put down or stop playing until you beat them. Uncharted fell into that realm for me also. Especially considering the stories are so well written and engrossing. Even aside from the fun game mechanics, you want to play to see what will happen with the characters.

So they’re definitely games to play when you know you’ll have the free time to devote to them.

Sometimes when you get sucked into a game. You end up missing out on a lot of sleep for a few weeks lol. I know that happens to me sometimes.

I bet playing EverQuest back in its original form was awesome, the first MMO I played was Everquest 2 on release date which included like a 10 disc install as well as a at the time big patch. That first night in game was especially magical

Even almost twenty years after release it's still pretty much the king of RTS games, thousands of people still play it online everyday

Man I need your help lol.. I’m fighting.. I’m battling.. But this game is some kind of next level of hard..

So here is my current issue.

Ive gone to level 4-1.. I was trying to get a sword there that’s at the very beginning.. struggled getting it..

So I went to the nexus and bought some grass for heals and I leveled up my strength some...

So I go back to level 4/1 and now there is an extra bones guy that is bright red just chilling on the steps and he is more difficult than the others to beat.

So I say forget it.. I’m just going to go to 2-1 and start there.

Problem is I keep dying and I need heals but can’t get them. I’m almost out.

How do I get more heals? What’s up with the red dude in 4/1?

This game is ridiculous!

Yes and no. You will always return to that starting point, but the levels have shortcuts to open up in them. These are usually switches and levers that open doors or give access to an elevator that connects back to that check point.

Healing can always be farmed and bought if you need to build up a stock. If you’re not far along in the game and struggling with healing, consider starting again with your new knowledge/experience as a temple knight. They get heavy armor and a heal spell.

I saw that you have been hanging out in 4-1. The skeletons there are tough.

What weapon are you using? The standard long sword is good. Whatever you’re using, most of your damage starting out will be from increasing your weapon’s level at a blacksmith. There are actually firestones in 2-1 and 2-2 that can fire enchant a weapon so that it removes all the stats from it and the damage is based only on the weapon level. I played through as a wizard pumping up Int but had a fire sword so its damage wasn’t based on strength. Also useful against skeletons and the squid people in 3-1.

Get your base stats required to use the weapon, then focus on tempering the weapon for bigger damage. Level points from there can go to health, stamina, and making sure your equipment weight is high enough so that you don’t “fat roll.”’ This is very important.

There is a ring hidden in 1-1 that cuts the health penalty of phantom form from 50% to 75%.
