Have you just worked on sports titles exclusively? Or anything else? Any RPG's or anything?
At this point, I probably have more sports titles on my resume than anything. I worked on the Ultima Series but I don't think I've worked on any RPGs since then. I've been meaning to try and compile a list of everything I have a credit on. I literally can't remember them all because I've been doing this for over 30 years. If I had to guess, I would say I've worked on somewhere between 100-150 shipped titles.

Got a few for Christmas. The Last of Us II, Kingdom Hearts All-In-One (I was always ho-hum on this series, but my ex-wife enjoyed it. I figured my daughter might enjoy seeing a game with a lot of Disney characters. And a bunch of games for less than $20 is a good deal), and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. So, I immediately started playing Star Wars Battlefront 2 (free from PS Plus), and South Park: The Fractured But Whole.

You need to bring Ultima back bro.

I feel like a modern day Ultima Online with modern graphics but still the “sandbox” style of play that Ultima had. Would be amazing

Me and my friends still talk about our adventures playing Ultima together back in the day.

I would love to work on another one but unfortunately, I think EA still owns the rights. I'm surprised they haven't done something new with it. I just know I would never work for them again.

Lol, aint that the truth...all the new games...but these older titles get the first go. I'm the same way, will have a new game in plastic wrap for months/years but somethings itching you to not play it for whatever reason. Anything but sometimes. I think for me it's once it's started, I feel I have to keep up with it I guess. Those South Park games are great.

Yeah, I have quite a few still in wrapping. The Last of Us II will probably jump to the front once I'm done with the other two, and KH will get brought out when the kid wants me to play it, Xenoblade will get slotted in the queue somewhere (it's such a time commitment!). And with SW: BF 2, I probably would have deleted it after spending an hour or so with it, but I read it's only like 4 hours long on the campaign, so might as well knock it out.

CD Projekt Red investors make good on Cyberpunk 2077 class-action lawsuit threat | Massively Overpowered (massivelyop.com)

No matter how well Cyberpunk 2077 appears to be working for you because you’re playing on a newly-launched console or a beefy PC, the fact remains that the game has not done well on other released hardware, which as was reported last week had caused some investors of developer/publisher CD Projekt Red to consider class-action litigation. That consideration has now transformed into a full-on legal filing, with the suit officially being filed this past Thursday. Merry Christmas, indeed.

The filing claims that CDPR made “materially false and misleading statements” regarding Cyberpunk 2077’s performance on PS4 and Xbox One, pointing to a number of conference call and financial report statements touting the game would be fully playable on the consoles as evidence. The suit further states that the game was instead “virtually unplayable” to the point that Sony pulled the game from its digital shelves, which resulted in “significant losses and damages” to the affected investors as a result of an inflated market share price which dropped shortly after the game’s release. The suit seeks an unspecified amount for these damages.

This suit could spell the beginning of a legal shellacking for CDPR: Investors in Poland are considering their own class-action suit, while another law firm is investigating “potential securities claims.”

I posted this a few days ago :D

It will be interesting to see if this is a legitimate complaint or simply the investors trying to take advantage of the situation to increase their return.

Demon's Souls, you dirty mistress...
Loving this game so far, still early in it on Boletarian Palace after dying against the first boss. Still learning the world tendency stuff and Nexus home stop. Had to drop some armor to get below the 50% threshold so I can roll all over the screen. Was on my way to the boss in Boletarian Palace, saw a shortcut on the top floor but got ambushed (500 souls goodbye...cried a little inside lol)

Forgot that these games can keep you kinda hypnotized...feels like I could be drooling sometimes bc of the replaying nature more than any graphics, etc. 3 hours later..where.am.I ? :D "need water, food, now!"

Lol awesome.

It took me a few Days to beat Phalanx in level 1.

I couldn’t believe that the game sent me all the way back to the beginning after I died deep into the first level..

What a cruel game lol.

Oh I know man, one time I just fell off the cliff/stairwell outside leading up to it...then you get a little hasty and lose those souls too. Been there trying to play Devil May Cry only to lose all my health on the first two enemies. Slow down, but it's hard to sometimes. The pacing gets some getting used to comp to other games.

Quick Q: To upgrade my weapon, I can collect souls and go back to the Nexus hub correct? I almost did a few times but didn't want to backtrack, etc. Should have seeing as I didn't get to the boss, but was thinking that's what the game was telling me when recouping my other lost souls from prior deaths.

It's an incredible experience so far, but my goodness it haunts my very thoughts. Sometimes I'm like, "I'm in this mood?". Then I'll start playing something else and get distracted thinking back Soul's.

No games are like them. For sure.

I feel almost like a punk or something going to another game. You're right, it taunts ya. Have MK11, AC Valhalla, but only thing I keep going to is DS and Astro to show the fam some of the graphics.

Battered gamers syndrome or something close to it.

Yes..

A little tip.. You can farm the first 2 or 3 skeletons in 4-1..

Use your fist and not a weapon because they don’t like blunt damage.

It’s like 1k souls per skeleton I think.

I can give you little tips like that with no spoilers if you like to make life easier on there.

Yep, and don't forget The Crystal Lizards with their Hardstone shards also needed for good weapon Upgrades. A few of those little freaks (god i hate chasing them in these games) got away from me already. They changed it in this one where you have to beat a boss for them to respawn. Thrill of the hunt my friend!

Well decided to dive further into Cyberpunk tonight and about 4 hours later I finally turned it off. It's really growing on me and the story is starting to pull me in. Game played fine for me the whole time. Had one wierd little animation when I went to hide a body (the body kind of flew against the glass instead of just dropping) but that's been it. Safe to say I'll continue and see where this takes me. Just getting into where Keanu Reeves character comes into the storyline (neat concept on that too).
