Music can really kill a game. I worked on a game a few years ago and we had a "sound designer" who made original tracks for the game. We all hated them but couldn't convince the people in charge to change it. The game was released and the first review described the soundtrack as "heavy metal vomit". I got a good chuckle out of that. I actually like old school metal too!

Absolutely, I agree. I'll continue to play this game but the music does kill the vibe a little bit. Now, the Forza Horizon games, they've been killing it on their music. Sometimes a track will come on that just makes you want to cruise your car across the map just enjoying the track. I was introduced to a ton of good music from that game I otherwise probably would have never found.

Very cool man. That's when you know they did it right. One song I came to appreciate after a game was "I don't care anymore" by Phil Collins in GTA5. Something about the scene just resonated with me.

Just finished Ghost of Tsushima

first off beautiful game, GREAT action and stealth and a GREAT story......maybe the best story in a video game the past 5 years....i really wanted to jump through the screen and attack Khotun Khan (main villain) and beat him up myself

secondly the main story was billed by some at 25 hours......its not...you can finish the main story in 8 maybe 12 depending on your play style

Signed up for the EA Game Pass. Thought, why not? It is only $30 for a year and their library has some pretty good titles in it (not to mention the Need For Speed I've been playing). Now I can whine about even more games I don't have time to play. :D

Zero doubt.
I started playing Warframe. Amazing free game. The grind seems insane, but the game is freaking free.
Whatchu say about that one?

Ooooh, dudes that made the Arkham games? Hopefully it's on all platforms. That series is easily one of the best out there. Visuals, mechanics, and story line were all top-notch.
Honestly speaking... I'm a Cavill stan.
Like fanboy.
Almost MST3K level of fandom, but not quite.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I have never heard of it. Despite what I do for a living, I'm not a huge gamer anymore. After 30 years in the biz, I can only spend so much of my free time looking at games when I spend all day doing it at the office.

Not a worry boss.
I haven't watched a new movie in years except for maybe The Lighthouse.

Great free to play game I've dabbled with too. It's a fun hack n slash type game similar to Destiny. Like you said though, the grind to get up to high levels is crazy. People who play Warframe have been playing for years so the learning curve is a bit steep. But heard they're a pretty friendly community by comparison; they help other players and encourage them to keep playing.

My friend played the Avengers beta over the weekend and I watched via remote connection. People are underestimating how good that game is going to be. Definitely move it up your watch list.

Here’s a deep dive for you. I picked up Plants vs Zombies: Battle of Neighborville last week. It was on sale for $10, and me a friend need more casual games to play with our wives since there is literally no way she would ever consider picking up Hunt with me.

The game is more fun than it has any right to be. Even though it is a more easy going game, there is still a serious enough class based shooter component. A good recommendation if you’re looking for something to play with someone younger or someone who doesn’t play games too seriously.

I actually had a friend who swore up and down that the first Plants vs. Zombies game was fun. I played it very briefly. So brief I couldn't give a fair opinion on it. May have to throw it on my queue of games to play.
