The Video Game Thread

Watched several review videos last night and went ahead and purchased it on Green Man Gaming for 59 bucks. Looking at some of the NPCs and combat you can definitely tell this is made by the same people that did Black Desert online. The map is enormous, some amazing exploration and landscapes as well as extremely difficult boss fights and puzzles. Watched a guy playing in 4k cinematic mode and the game was using 16 GB of system Ram and around 11 GB of video RAM. Seems to be fairly well optimized
It blows my mind how gigantic they're making maps these days.

Not to keep bringing up Borderlands 4, but, I have right around 100 hours into the game and I still have areas of the map I haven't uncovered. Lol

I've read the new upcoming Forza Horizon 6 map is absolutely massive and I can't wait to see the GTAVI map.

Anybody here ever played Stray?

I remember hearing about it when it dropped a few years ago. Heard good things, but honestly…playing as a cat sounded kind of dumb to me. It ended up being free on PSN a while back, so I downloaded it....and then just let it sit there.

Last night I was scrolling through my games and came across it again. Thought, “Alright, let’s see what this is about. Probably sucks…then I can delete it.” I fired it up and.....I couldn’t stop playing. Ended up sinking hours into it, and now I’m actually looking forward to jumping back in tonight to finish off the weekend.
There's just something about it.

I played with my son. It’s a cool game I like it.

I wish they had combat in it though. Like you could fight other cats or kill mice or something.

But it is cool to play as an athletic little cat.

It is a remarkable game. I loved playing it.

Just got RACCOIN. It's a coin-pushing machine roguelike game. I'm really enjoying it. It's under $10.

If you're a fan of roguelike games like Balatro or CloverPit, then I highly recommend checking it out.
