"The Walking Dead" Season 4– Episodes 9-16...

The other thing is that some of them could have been close to death with the flu.

But here's the other side of the coin...

These folks have been through this "zombie apocolapse" for a while now. I would think if you're in the company of someone or someone(s) were close to dead or close to death, they (the remaining folks) would have pitched their arses off the bus.

I dunno, I hope they explain that a little better or at some point come across a surviving group from the bus. If we find out that every person on that bus died, I'll give that part of the show a thumbs-down.

The three worst parts of episode 10 for me were the "Carol reveal", bus thing and Tyreese, instead of helping out more at the train-track massacre decides to spend most of his time hitting one zombie in the head, over and over and over again... while other folks are getting bit.

I think that many are starting to see these drops in storyline quality.

These writers aren't as good as what we're accustomed to and don't seem to have the same level of respect for the audience.

I see laziness in writing that simply gets the writers from where they are to where they want to be, and logic and a solid explanation is often being sacrificed to do it.

The people on the bus weren't key characters, so they were a 'nuisance' to the writers. So they were simply 'erased' as quickly and thoughtlessly as possible.

This season so far has been riddled with leaps in logic.

On "The Walking Dead" fan page of Facebook it was supposedly posted that we'll get confirmation this week of who did kill Karen and David... Now if that's true or not... we'll see.

I just don't buy into it that Carol did it. The character as they portray her just doesn't seem the type.

maybe it was the psycho little girl and Carol covered for her. Wow, didn't expect that.

Guess that was a bogus rumor on the "Who really killed Karen and David" front.

Episode 4-11... 2-23-14

I rate it in between the first episode of the season that I thought was on the weak side and last weeks which I thought was pretty good.

Michonne and Carl... best pals! Who'da figured that?

He said last season she was one of us. Makes sense to me, plus she was bringing him stuff in the prison.

no daryl. it sucked. :) (darrell?)

i like the evolution of michonne. however you spell her name. she's gone from dark and brooding to coming back to life.

i don't buy someone killing part of their group cause they didn't give up a bed.

3 hours of driving say at even 40 mph, that's 120+ miles away from the bus. 6+ days walk to get back. hope they find a car, truck, moped soon.

why was some dude just sitting on a toilet? it was down, his pants were up, but hey, i'm just gonna sit on my toilet seat and ponder why my *** is still fat this far into oblivion.

but i did enjoy the show.

also buggin me -

you have a military man who loses not only a hot chick in short shorts, but the holy grail to follow glen.

you have a military man who after all this time, never showed doctor smart how to fire a gun.

early on this show paid attention to detail. they ignore it now.

I think the guy on the toilet was the same one that was put to sleep forcefully in the bedroom. I don't think he was killed by the other bandit as his body was not shown as Rick was crawling out from under the bed. Otherwise he would have become a zombie much sooner and the guy certainly wouldn't have taken a nap with him in the room.

Now as to why he was in the bathroom rather than alerting anyone else to Rick's presence is beyond me. It seemed like he made eye contact with Rick before passing out.

He was not the same guy...they showed the room later and the one guy was still on the floor.

Also I don't think the guy was killed in the bedroom...just choked unconscious.

Point taken.

Was the room Michonne walked into meant to be a murder-suicide? I found that really creepy.

Also, what was the significance of the picture? Michonne seemed to react emotionally to it. Maybe one of the families kids had become a zombie and that's why her face was crossed out/scribbed over?

Yep... the old "Sleeper-hold" used with good affect! They talked about it on "The Talking Dead".

Murder-suicide. The one in the chair had the back of her head blown out.

Another interesting point from "The Talking Dead" was that the timeframe of the show is presently 1 and 1/2 years after the initial outbreak.

Hey ice... probably not driving that fast... Still a distance but probably less than a 100 miles. They past the bus... who knows if they stopped and explored around that, they did talk about everyone being dead. And maybe they had other unscheduled stops along the way to investigate stuff.

I will have to check it this evening when I get home but I think the painting might have been a hear no evil, see no evil, say no evil type of deal. I pretty sure there was an X over the mouth and eye but not sure about the ear.

Ah!

That would be an interesting angle.

Is Abraham portrayed as not being the sharpest mentally? It seems like Eugene is duping him and why the heck was he smiling while killing the walkers? Child-like naivety about his mission to save the world?

See I don't get that from Abraham, i.e. that he's not bright. I do that that he's driven to save some portion of the world.

Eugene though seems like a blank.

I don't think he was dead. I thought he was breathing.
