See I don't get that from Abraham, i.e. that he's not bright. I do that that he's driven to save some portion of the world.

Eugene though seems like a blank.

He just seemed to accept Eugene saying "that's a bad idea. Trust me. I'm smarter than you" towards the end of the episode completely at face value.

I wonder if the writers are trying to get across the point that Abraham is simply following chain-of-command. He has "made" Eugene into his commanding officer and thereby gives him more leeway than he did Glenn for instance.

Few things...

Watched again and can't tell if there is an X over the ear in the painting like with the X over the eye and mouth... However no no no was painted down know side.

The idea of Abraham blindly following Eugene And Eugene not knowing how to use a weapon while pleading ignorance.

One could think that if someone is inept to survive on their own, they would align with someone who can protect them. In doing so they would have to ensure that they made a circumstance that would keep that other person protecting you. In other words maybe Eugene is smart enough to play on Abrahams history of following orders and also being a soldier. One could suggest that Eugene is not being honest in order to protect himself.

The short-shorts... Not much of a shirt...

While it's good for TV watching, it doesn't seem like it would be the best choice during a zombie outbreak– especially in Georgia with all the critters. Virtually everyone on the show wears pants and that would make sense.

While true, that is almost a dead-ringer for the way she was introduced in the comics. The entire trio was dressed the same in fact.

Learned that Rick is a super ninja. He can kill a guy while being banged around and slammed into walls all while not alerting the other occupants in the house. Amazing I tell you.

Seriously though. We learned someone claims to have a cure and Michonnes childs name. We are seriously heading down Lost territory here.

That was a better show than the previous episodes since the break but the show is still very sloppy as far explaining things.

"Oh, this guy knows how everything started and he will save all of mankind." Then we're just supposed to accept it and move on while we go to another scene where nobody is really doing anything.

This has got to be the easiest show to act on.

That's the part I don't get. Next he gets killed and the "classified" secret to save the world is gone. Also they are going to visit politicians in DC that they lost contact with. They are likely dead and it would make more sense if they protected the scientist and brought him any medical stuff he needs and anyone else with medical training that could help.

Well the funny thing is that watching that sequence using closed captioning the little band of marauders are screaming about a female and then the gun-fire happens. Generally speaking that would be a pretty fast turn, i.e. the guy in the bathroom, I mean we watched Rick in real time climb out the window and wait beside the porch... and it was pretty short.
