they explicitly said it was a bullet graze
Thank you for that clarification.
they explicitly said it was a bullet graze
so we can make bullets but not arrows.
got it.
you're a lot more fun when you're not around.
Thank you for that clarification.
Has anyone done that or even claimed to be able to do that? Making this personal only make you a jerk.
The hilltoppers they're working for have a doctor anyhow...so in the even of actual need, they have access to one.
This would be true.
But do to the nature of the world around them, and the amount of time it takes them to get to the Hilltop, you're talking about a half day to get there or so. Based off the way the TV show shows it and how it's done in the comic. They're actually not terribly far away but given that they can't just drive as fast as they want to get there they wind up taking a long time to get there.
So if it's a life or death situation then that doctor isn't in ideal position to help them. I would imagine they'll write someone in, quickly, whose a doctor in some fashion in order to work that part out.
and when a lack of precision crossbow bolts is an issue, eugene will figure out how to carve a straight stick with a pointy end and a notched end.
lol.
I believe that Eugene could easily already do this if he felt there was a real need to do so.
He instead has focused his efforts on the much better, and much more profitable, commodity by deciding to make ammo.
yep. just pointing out to the self-downtrodden in here that making a bolt for a crossbow isn't that difficult and shouldn't have to be spelled out in the storyline.
lol. Oh I hear ya. I didn't know exactly what the conversation was going like because whoever it is you're trying to explain that to is on the ignore list. So I'm grateful I can't see their posts on the topic anyway.
yea, a week of "megan" crap didn't start that off, now did it? and no. no one has ever made a bolt for a crossbow. scientists are still in awe of the first one found and to this day wonder how there was ever a 2nd one.

You need to get over your week old "megan" butt hurt. It was never personal so stop being small minded and petty.
A bolt isn't just a stick. There is a certain skill required to make one. We're not talking about the real world so stop talking as if that's the conversation. In the world of TWD, civilization has broken down. In many ways we are starting over. We don't know exactly what there abilities are to fabricate things other than what we are shown they can do.
cause yea - back in medieval times, no one figured out how to make such complex materials.
and yes, it was personal. just because you say it wasn't doesn't mean i'm going to believe someone trolling around for reactions. so like my good friend braveheart here, i will start singing old jacksons...
you're outta my life....
Well you could end up making a bolt easily, especially when you have 3+ years of time on your hand (I mean seriously, besides kill walkers what do these people have time to do? Can you imagine the downtime?!)
Also you can get hundreds if not thousands at sporting goods stores, and judging by not many people using a crossbow it appears to be the forgotten weapon in the apocalypse. So I'm sure Darryl has plenty of ammo.

Rick Grimes would not put up with all this arguing!
I'm not saying they can't figure it out in the world of TWD, I'm sure they can. I just haven't heard it mentioned yet.
