I am.

The last 4-5 episodes have re-interested me.

I'm definitely ok with whoever Negan kills.
I'm ok if it happens and we don't see who dies as a cliffhanger.

The show has me back!

agreed but this is WWE and those guys from what i understand, will be backstage where i may get to go.

It's the superbowl of wrestling. I'm 36, never been to a live show, other than back in the day when I was a kid, and the smaller companies would come locally.

Now, married and a father of two...I'm going to Wrestlemania. Couldn't pass it up....and personally can't freaking wait!!! DVR can catch TWD for me. Just have to stay unplugged until I get back home Monday.

Enjoy. There's No law, although some think so/society rules bs etc says once married and have kids that you can't do these things.

Oh, and the "mid life crisis" tag.... No, it's called doing what I like.

Sorry, I'm a stickler for this! Lol

Live it up!

Here is a really great "go nowhere" Friday story. In an interview a few years ago, Robert Kirkman revealed that he thought very long and hard about killing Rick off waaaaay back in issue #6, which is the issue that Carl in fact shoots Shane to save Rick. His logic was that the series would focus on Carl and his struggle growing up with the man (Shane) that killed his father.

He decided that it was best that the series continue to be "Rick's story", so Shane was killed off instead. But, it would have been an interesting difference in the way the story was told and a really cool "What If" story if Kirkman should ever decide to revisit it.

I did not know that. That would have been a really crazy way to go with the story.

Certainly would have changed everything.

ok, so here's my problem.

sunday of course is the 90 minute conclusion to this season and wrapped up months of a great run this half. NOW - WWE is sunday here in dallas and i just got invited to go.

by someone who likely is going to be sitting around, near or close to the mcmahons.

Go to Mania. DVR Walking Dead.

WrestleMania live is SOOOOOO fun. I went to 25 in Houston. It's a blast.

Due to the decline of the WWE since the days of Stone Cold , HBK and the Rock, I would rather watch TWD. The glory days of WWE was great, but they lost all their edge.

I agree. Or maybe I just grew up and now see how stupid the WWE really is. I would rather watch the season finale of TWD.

Well I think we get "wienered" tonight and the folks behind the show choose to go with a "Who shot JR" finish.

And then I think we get wienered again in that it's a minor character that gets "Lucilled". Why?

Because after 6 months the emotional impact of finding out it was Daryl or Glenn will be greatly lessened because everyone will have thought about it for half-a-year– the pain for fans will be much less than if they showed that character getting whacked tonight.

Six months from now I probably won't even remember that there was a Negan, and references to "my Lucille" will only evoke memories of a car wash scene (which is the way it should be).

Yep. That's why IF they go this route knocking off a main character is going to be next to worthless.

Man... When they did the "who shot JR"?

That did very well for them... Even non watchers of the show knew about it.

If they do that it's going to have the exact opposite effect of what they intended that moment to represent. It would be an incredibly stupid decision to cap off the best season to date.

I hope they whack Glenn, get it over and done with! LOL!

Back then it was revolutionary...

Now it's just "same-ole, same-ole".

Yes and no.
New generation of viewers.(don't even know Dallas existed let alone the WSJR.

I think a move like that would catapult people into binge watching and / or jumping in to season 7 without much backstory from seasons 1-6.

Daryl in a blaze of glory.

I think if they don't show us who it is tonight then it's because they went with a nobody and that would be stupid as hell, IMO.

To pick a nobody or to not show it tonight would be one of the worst decisions ever.

Huge difference, IMO.

That cliffhanger works because there were so many enemies for the character that it just left you wondering who might have done it.

They're introducing the Negan character on this episode and to not show what he does, and to who, would just be incredibly stupid.

You just made my argument really. Flip the script.

But the trouble is that tactic will render the death of a main-character almost meaningless because folks will stew about it, imagine there character dead and when/if it does happen in October, the emotional "hit" of a main character death will be greatly diminished.

And if it's a minor character? Why bother going through the process.

In addition this type of cliffhanger (or some variation there of) has been used since the JR-thing... It's like eating 5-day old birthday cake. It was good the first day, but by now it's kinda stale.

If it played out like that...

What do they do at Comic-con to avoid discussing the cliff-hanger?

Do they march out a panel of Father Gabriel, Tobin, Dwight and Baby Judith to answer questions? LOL!
