Amazing to me that when someone expresses their opinion they get personally attacked by all members high and far. He is being called a Dak hater yet the same people saying that take offense when they create rah rah Dak threads and are called Dak defenders. Just create a like-minded group where you all think alike so you can rest easy and have happy happy joy joy thoughts. So much for free speech.

Giants while improved should be a win
Jets could be troublesome and have lots to prove
Cardinals have lots of issues
Patriots we should win but can never count out Belichick
49ers the toughest game of the first 5

Could see us 4-1 or 3-2 at the worse

With the Cowboys opening vs the Giants, and then following that with the Jets, Cardinals, Patriots and 49'ers, the dream season could turn into a nightmare before the Cowboys get started.
While they are coasting through the preseason they are heading into a hornets nest with each of the first five teams they face. Only the Cardinals seem to be weaker this season, and that's only because they have uncertainty at the quarterback spot and coaching issues.
The Jets are coming to Dallas with something to prove and with Aaron Rogers at the helm; The Cowboys face the Cardinals in Arizona, the Patriots at home, and then back on the road to San Francisco.
Then they are at the Chargers before getting the Rams at home. By this point it is very possible that the Cowboys could be 3-5. Then they are at the Eagles before again facing the Giants at home. If things are going bad by the time they face the Eagles, this could end up as two more losses.
Then they go to Carolina and get Washington at home. This is really their first easy part of the season.
At home vs the Seahawks is winnable, but then they get the Eagles at home and then go to Buffalo and Miami.
They get the Lions at home, but I think the Lions will be tough. They finish at Washington.
This year could very easily end up at 5 wins and 12 losses. If things start going bad, they will likely stay bad.
This is the year Dak will have to be all that his fans hype him to be. He will have to be the reason that the Cowboys take the next step. The defense cannot hold up if they are having the carry the team by themselves. This is the year that there will be no excuses for Dak. He will either rise to the challenge or the Cowboys will implode.
If he doesn't, the Cowboys will get a high draft pick next year, and probably a new head coach.
Start off 3-5? I think at worst, 5-3, but I'd wager better than that. Think about it, how many good teams start off 3-5? Regardless of schedule, it rarely happens. I think Dallas has a pretty good team, and I don't think we start off 3-5 no matter who we play in our first 8 games.

Are you this pessimistic about all aspects of your life?

Dallas is a better team than NYG. They win that game. I don't know what to make of the Jets. I think they are probably overrated at this point. Pats are avg at best. Cards stink and SF has questions at the QB position. Worst case is that we go 3-2 through those first 5 games. LAC is a very hot/cold team, that game could go either way, but Kellen Moore shrinks in big time games. LAR is a win. I think we are 5-2 before we face the eagles.

This actually sounds reasonable. I agree.

And yet, when they finish 12-5 instead of your 5-12, you won't give Dak any credit for their performance.

"So much for free speech?" Seriously? In a post where you're policing what people write and suggesting that people who think a certain way should be banished to a separate group? Great.

And for the record, leeblair is a Dak hater: I mean, that's the one and only personality trait he expresses on here. Should I not call him what he is? Free speech for thee but not for me?

That game is far from a lock, especially on the road. I’m surprised how many fans are disrespecting the Giants. We’re not going to know what kind of team the Cowboys have until opening day. They haven’t played any of their starters in preseason and the players they’ve played haven’t looked overly impressive. We looked terrible in the opener last season. Our starters looked rusty and unprepared. Dak continues to throw picks in training camp. The Cowboys better be ready to play when they show up in New York.
division games are always the hardest. its because they play each other twice every year and the players know each other and their tendencies so well. its like playing against your team mates all the time (kind of).

Of course. If everyone gets hurt. That's the same w/ all teams.

And even more amazing is the failure to grasp the free speech concept. You can say whatever you want, but there are always repercussions due to what you say. That's a big DUH.

Free speech is about the freedom from prosecution for religious and poli views. It is almost exclusively about that, but people consistently try to make it about other items.

Why do you think the Jets are overrated? I mean, they are frickin' stacked. #4 D in the NFL and the O littered w/ good players. The only question is whether Rodgers can still play at a high level. That's it. They were 7-10 last season w/ horrific QB play.

You’re a Dak hater. How’s that for free speech junior?
