"So much for free speech?" Seriously? In a post where you're policing what people write and suggesting that people who think a certain way should be banished to a separate group? Great.

And for the record, leeblair is a Dak hater: I mean, that's the one and only personality trait he expresses on here. Should I not call him what he is? Free speech for thee but not for me?
Actually, basic comprehension will show that what I said was this group is full of hypocrites and they should simply oust all those that dare offer a differing opinion than the rah rah Dallas all things are great crowd as clearly those that offer any criticism are fitted with a scarlet letter, much like you just did to leeblair.

So calling someone a "Dak hater" (I think leeblair would wear that badge proudly, by the way) is bad, but calling people "hypocrites" is good. Criticism of players is good, but positive statements are bad. Got it.

Last I checked calling our hypocrisy isn't name-calling so much as describing a person's actions; there is a difference but again, what I say is meaningless as I have been in this group long enough to know things will never change and ultimately do not matter for nothing said in this group means anything in the real world.

"Hypocrite," the word you used, describes the person: "hypocrisy" or "hypocritical" describe the action. In the same way that "Dak hater" describes the person, while "Dak-bashing," for instance, would describe the action. If you do enough hypocritical things, you will quite fairly be labeled a hypocrite. If you do enough Dak bashing (and good lord does leeblair do a lot of Dak bashing) you will quite fairly be labeled a Dak hater.

What any of this has to do with the stifling of "free speech," which is what I was objecting to in your original post, I have no idea. It's not like the criticism of leeblair has in any way stifled him from starting inane Dak-bashing thread after inane Dak-bashing thread.

We have to see what any of these teams are made of, but we cannot forget the Cowboys have a pretty good roster themselves. I think the Giants will be much improved and having a must win game to start the season is stressful but like I said, the Giants are thinking how tough it is to play Dallas week 1. I do worry about Rodgers and the Jets. He seems to have Dallas's number. The Jets should have a top notch defense and this will be a tough game. But Dallas has a good defense and a good offense too so anything can happen.

We have to take it one game at a time. No one knows how any of these teams will play once the season starts. And don;t forget, there will be injuries as the season progresses and some teams will slip along the way.

I am a strong believer that it is not how you start but how you finish a season. I'd rather than finish strong into the playoffs than start fast and slow down as they get to the end of the season.

Leeblair is a purposeful troll. With a long history of trolling cowboys message boards that literally goes back decades.

His “scarlet letter” has nothing to do with him liking or not liking Dak.

They could be 0-17... every year we look at the schedule saying team x,y,and z is gonna be tough PRIOR to the season starting. Then 9 weeks later team x is 2-6 and team Y is 3-5. Then a few teams you were penciling in as easy wins go 11-3 when you play them. This is the NFL and every week is tough. is this your first year watching?

With the Cowboys opening vs the Giants, and then following that with the Jets, Cardinals, Patriots and 49'ers, the dream season could turn into a nightmare before the Cowboys get started.
While they are coasting through the preseason they are heading into a hornets nest with each of the first five teams they face. Only the Cardinals seem to be weaker this season, and that's only because they have uncertainty at the quarterback spot and coaching issues.
The Jets are coming to Dallas with something to prove and with Aaron Rogers at the helm; The Cowboys face the Cardinals in Arizona, the Patriots at home, and then back on the road to San Francisco.
Then they are at the Chargers before getting the Rams at home. By this point it is very possible that the Cowboys could be 3-5. Then they are at the Eagles before again facing the Giants at home. If things are going bad by the time they face the Eagles, this could end up as two more losses.
Then they go to Carolina and get Washington at home. This is really their first easy part of the season.
At home vs the Seahawks is winnable, but then they get the Eagles at home and then go to Buffalo and Miami.
They get the Lions at home, but I think the Lions will be tough. They finish at Washington.
This year could very easily end up at 5 wins and 12 losses. If things start going bad, they will likely stay bad.
This is the year Dak will have to be all that his fans hype him to be. He will have to be the reason that the Cowboys take the next step. The defense cannot hold up if they are having the carry the team by themselves. This is the year that there will be no excuses for Dak. He will either rise to the challenge or the Cowboys will implode.
If he doesn't, the Cowboys will get a high draft pick next year, and probably a new head coach.
Or not

Jets, Cardinals, Giants and Patriots? Y’all will say anything just to create a thread on here. If you can’t beat those teams then what are you here for?
While I agree the thread is pointless... The Giants and espcially the Jets coul dbe pretty good this year. The Jets have all sorts of young talent, and if Rodgers can play at a high level, the J-E-T-S will be really good this season.

That home season opener that I will be at and originally was thinking it was going to be a stinker is going to be exciting.

Amazing to me that when someone expresses their opinion they get personally attacked by all members high and far. He is being called a Dak hater yet the same people saying that take offense when they create rah rah Dak threads and are called Dak defenders. Just create a like-minded group where you all think alike so you can rest easy and have happy happy joy joy thoughts. So much for free speech.
This guy thinks he gets free speech on a privately owned forum.

Victim card played

What Criticism have you offered that can be discussed with facts that everyone ignores? Do you engage in the back and forth name calling? Again i find it funny when someone calls another poster "Dak Lover" or "Dak over Team" or whatever then gets insulted when they are engaged back with a name. For better or worse you have been overly vocal in all Dak threads, thats just a fact, and you tend to stand by some posters that have a very clear posting history... again in the underbelly of society the "You are who you hang around" tends to ring true.

Wel let me clarify I'm not saying they will be bad teams. I'm just saying there's much tougher obstacles down the road lol. At the end of the day we were a 12 win team. I get showing respect to the 49ers and Eagles(yuck). Had better records and better teams than last year. But those teams should fear us just the same(Well maybe not 9ers). Cowboys will be a tough matchup for JETS and Giants.

We have a good chance in every game, obviously no one knows what will happen but something has gone horribly wrong if we are 1-4, this team is way to talented for that.

He's just arguing to argue. His own insecurities are showing up because Leeblair is a proud Dak hater and yes he wears it proudly and doesn't hide behind it lol.
