We struggle against the Cardinals because of Kyler Murray, but he won’t be playing in week three. He’s still rehabbing an injury from last year. However, we’re likely to struggle against them anyway if we get off to a good start this season. That could end up being the first game this season where we decide not to show up. The Cardinals will probably be struggling and with no Kyler Murray we’ll get lulled to sleep and this fan base won’t be livid after the game. Lol The only way we show up for the Cardinals is if we get off to a 1-1 or 0-2 start and need a win.
We've played them one time with Kyler Murray.

If we lose to both Pats and Cards, we don’t deserve to make the PO.
the cards are different team with a new HC and a new culture, they will play good.
Pats..... elliot will have a 200 yd game lol
Giants starters looked sharp in PS, especially jones.
jets.... tough defense and rodgers love beating the cowboys
49ers ..... cowboys will want this one, should be a tossup

Cincinnati got off to a rough start and started playing outstanding football as the season went on. They won their last eight consecutive games and were beating Buffalo when that game was canceled. They made it to the conference title game, while the Cowboys once again lost in the divisional round. They were clearly a better team than the Cowboys last season. By the way where did I say the Cowboys sucked?
You didn’t. It was a generalization for those that always seem to insinuate that Dallas’ problems are so uniquely epic, and always ‘incompetence on parade’.

That game is far from a lock, especially on the road. I’m surprised how many fans are disrespecting the Giants. We’re not going to know what kind of team the Cowboys have until opening day. They haven’t played any of their starters in preseason and the players they’ve played haven’t looked overly impressive. We looked terrible in the opener last season. Our starters looked rusty and unprepared. Dak continues to throw picks in training camp. The Cowboys better be ready to play when they show up in New York.
No offense KJJ but you did this nonsense last year. Some of our gimme games you tried to make it seem like they were gonna be dogfights that we were barely gonna scrape out of and might lose, and then we went out there and blew the doors off everyone of those teams. I don't understand how you're surprised that the fans are disrespecting a team that hasn't beaten dak since 2016. Are you serious right now?

Amazing to me that when someone expresses their opinion they get personally attacked by all members high and far. He is being called a Dak hater yet the same people saying that take offense when they create rah rah Dak threads and are called Dak defenders. Just create a like-minded group where you all think alike so you can rest easy and have happy happy joy joy thoughts. So much for free speech.
wait, am I reading this right? you just expressed your opinion, about somebody's opinion of somebody's opinion...you exercised free speech, so did the person who expressed their opinion about the OP. are you taking issue with their opinion?
so much for free of speech!?

and what's your point about "so much for free speech". isn't what just happened free speech or is it because you disagree with somebody else's opinion, that you are taking offense with? OP posted. somebody expressed a different opinion and you are plain complaining (no added value).....isn't that the very definition of free speech?

you also complained in the same post about "like minded group" yet the opinions of the two posters is different and thus they are not like minded. so is it that you want them to agree with the OP and not criticize his opinion? isn't that the very definition of like mindedness which you complained about.

you contradicted the very meanings of "like mindedness" and "free speech" in your post. which leads me to believe that you just want to complain.

some people are just who they are... ;);)

With the Cowboys opening vs the Giants, and then following that with the Jets, Cardinals, Patriots and 49'ers, the dream season could turn into a nightmare before the Cowboys get started.
While they are coasting through the preseason they are heading into a hornets nest with each of the first five teams they face. Only the Cardinals seem to be weaker this season, and that's only because they have uncertainty at the quarterback spot and coaching issues.
The Jets are coming to Dallas with something to prove and with Aaron Rogers at the helm; The Cowboys face the Cardinals in Arizona, the Patriots at home, and then back on the road to San Francisco.
Then they are at the Chargers before getting the Rams at home. By this point it is very possible that the Cowboys could be 3-5. Then they are at the Eagles before again facing the Giants at home. If things are going bad by the time they face the Eagles, this could end up as two more losses.
Then they go to Carolina and get Washington at home. This is really their first easy part of the season.
At home vs the Seahawks is winnable, but then they get the Eagles at home and then go to Buffalo and Miami.
They get the Lions at home, but I think the Lions will be tough. They finish at Washington.
This year could very easily end up at 5 wins and 12 losses. If things start going bad, they will likely stay bad.
This is the year Dak will have to be all that his fans hype him to be. He will have to be the reason that the Cowboys take the next step. The defense cannot hold up if they are having the carry the team by themselves. This is the year that there will be no excuses for Dak. He will either rise to the challenge or the Cowboys will implode.
If he doesn't, the Cowboys will get a high draft pick next year, and probably a new head coach.
We should definitely start looking at the draft. This year is over before it started...

Some of our so called gimme games ended up being losses. I warned everyone who thought we were going to roll all over Green Bay, because they had lost five straight that we better be ready to play or it would end up another loss to Aaron Rodgers. Many on this board were predicting easy wins against the Giants and we beat them by one score in both games. Practically everyone on this board thought we were going to roll all over Washington in week 18 against a rookie QB making his first NFL start, but it was the Cowboys who ended up getting rolled over. I don’t understand how Cowboys fans could disrespect any team with as many times as the Cowboys have been upset by bad teams. We go through it every season with the Cowboys. Once they get on a roll, they decide not to show up against a struggling team and get beat. Dak isn’t playing as good as he did in 2016. Daniel Jones has shown more improvement than Dak the past season. Most Cowboys fans don’t trust the Cowboys and why should they?

The season hasn’t started yet LOL

My guess is you will hear it and use it a lot during the season
I don't need a reason to look for, if we have a bad year that just means we wasn't as good as we thought. Pretty simple stuff.

The Cowboys seem to be more prepared against upper echelon teams. I’m more concerned about the opponents they play that everyone seems to be sleeping on. We couldn’t have caught the Packers and Aaron Rodgers at a more bearable time than we did last season and we all saw what happened. Jacksonville wasn’t playing well when we faced them and we proceeded to blow a three score lead. Washington had given up on their season when we faced them in week 18 and we got pummeled by a rookie QB making their first NFL start. This is why you can’t disrespect any team the Cowboys face. We don’t know from one week to another what Cowboys team is going to show up. I don’t think it will be any different this season. They’ll look great some weeks, then out of nowhere lay an egg against a struggling team with a shaky QB situation. You have to hold your breath every week with the Cowboys.
A lot of fans have amnesia.

I gave warnings against Green Bay, Jacksonville and the Giants and Washington both times. We lost three of those games and the two games against the Giants were one score games.

A lot of fans have amnesia.
Some don’t want to remember what happened against the Jets in 2019 and Sam Darnold and against Denver in 2021 against Teddy Bridgewater. Don’t know how anyone could trust the Cowboys after those two games. They don’t want to remember how silly Mitch Trubisky made our defense look a few years ago. Appears some have already forgotten what happened against Sam Howell, and Washington in week 18 just last season.

We played them twice with Kyler Murray, once in 2020 and the other in 2021 and lost both times.
Oops, my bad. I only remembered the home game when they kept making a big deal about how that little B has never lost at Jerry world. I think I blocked all of 2020 out.of my head.
