With the Cowboys opening vs the Giants, and then following that with the Jets, Cardinals, Patriots and 49'ers, the dream season could turn into a nightmare before the Cowboys get started.
While they are coasting through the preseason they are heading into a hornets nest with each of the first five teams they face. Only the Cardinals seem to be weaker this season, and that's only because they have uncertainty at the quarterback spot and coaching issues.
The Jets are coming to Dallas with something to prove and with Aaron Rogers at the helm; The Cowboys face the Cardinals in Arizona, the Patriots at home, and then back on the road to San Francisco.
Then they are at the Chargers before getting the Rams at home. By this point it is very possible that the Cowboys could be 3-5. Then they are at the Eagles before again facing the Giants at home. If things are going bad by the time they face the Eagles, this could end up as two more losses.
Then they go to Carolina and get Washington at home. This is really their first easy part of the season.
At home vs the Seahawks is winnable, but then they get the Eagles at home and then go to Buffalo and Miami.
They get the Lions at home, but I think the Lions will be tough. They finish at Washington.
This year could very easily end up at 5 wins and 12 losses. If things start going bad, they will likely stay bad.
This is the year Dak will have to be all that his fans hype him to be. He will have to be the reason that the Cowboys take the next step. The defense cannot hold up if they are having the carry the team by themselves. This is the year that there will be no excuses for Dak. He will either rise to the challenge or the Cowboys will implode.
If he doesn't, the Cowboys will get a high draft pick next year, and probably a new head coach.
That will suck esp if the eagles start a long undefeated stretch again.

That is a view...I'd build upon real strengths first in my view of this team. The Cowboys team has already earned valid respect. They can take on any team in their schedule, here and now...the 'Turk' be damned.

And even more amazing is the failure to grasp the free speech concept. You can say whatever you want, but there are always repercussions due to what you say. That's a big DUH.

Free speech is about the freedom from prosecution for religious and poli views. It is almost exclusively about that, but people consistently try to make it about other items.
There's also some press rights in there, too, that extend to more than just religions and well, the press. It's more important than many say. It's also about family, association, etc. What you're saying is about half of it. But it goes way deeper if you really look. Also impacts representatives, campaigns, businesses, right to protest non-religious issues, etc.

But how does one feel about rooster testicle stew popular in parts of Europe? As if the Russians care about rights...let 'em talk, for sure. But protect that basic right to the top of representation. Agreed.

How would you know? Maybe they got them some new tires? Dak bought them for the team.

You, me, and anyone reading this have no idea how the up coming road will be. The only wheels coming off are in your head.
