Portugal plays Brazil tomorrow, not Ivory Coast.

I normally don't care about Spain but I need them to advance for my pool.

This thread needs a little France-bashing.

That was pretty bad. Italy's manager did the same thing today.

Both knew they were gone so they let emotion take over need to be classy.

I know this!!! I meant the ivory coast needs to score 8 goals to catch Portugal in goal differential, I think they will score at least 4 on Korea in their attempt to catch them

For the record, I absolutely can't stand the amount of flopping that takes place on the pitch in association football, but I have a very special appreciation for the World Cup - there's literally nothing like it.

Can't WAIT to see Portugal and Brazil. So far everyone in Nike's commercial line has been a severe disappointment: Wayne Rooney's been the invisible man, Ronaldo hasn't done much, and Ronaldinho didn't even get invited on the squad.

Did he? I hadn't seen that.
Every match has a winner and a loser. In the World Cup, you know going in that you might lose. It's just so damn bush league to not shake a man's hand after he beats you in a legitimate test of skill. I can't stand that stuff.

And Spain is back in it. They have controlled time of possession in their games, holding the ball for almost 70% of the time. Their game against Portugal could be a very good one.

Spain is better than Portugal. The only thing that worries me is that Torres is playing like crap!.

He needs to get it together.

Ronaldo hurts his team at times when he tries to do to much.

Too early for this. USA must love to play with their backs against the wall. :(

Does the US have a good soccer team? I don't follow soccer, so I don't know if we have a good team/sucky team.

These announcers have said throughout this tournament that Howard is one of the best goalies in the world. He has had problems early in all games, though.
