no they just try and come out with monikers like "dream team". its clear that some teams players organizations and fans have a little something against dallas. That moniker hits some buttons

Again though, only to a Cowboys fan would the "Dream Team" comment have anything to do with us.

The worst part about being a cowboys fan is having to argue with the casual cowboys/nfl fans about why our team fails. Having to tell them the issues with our depth and o-line is a pain in the rear.

Also have to remind them that the entire team fails in clutch situations, and the problem is NOT Romo is the worst part about being a cowboys fan.

Hate hearing casual football fans say that Romo sucks.:bang2:

Webster's would disagree with you, sir.

It is a word.. just not one that's used often.

If you do the research it was a *******ized word that was created by public misuse.

Like let me axe you a question. Or end quote, which is also incorrect, but most of the media uses it like toothpaste.

Proper language dictates this is not a word.

Thanks. I work retail as a job on the side while going to school and whenever I strike a conversation with a customer about football it goes :

"Oh you are a cowboys fan?"

"Sure am."

"Haha... maybe you will get a new quarterback soon!" Or something to that extent.

Infuriating.

Worse thing to "ME" about being a Cowboys fan is listening and seeing all the whining, complaining and nit picking everyone and moves on this team..there cannot be a superstar at every position.

Try to imagine yourselves as a Jets fan or a Jags fan. You will appreciate being a Dallas fan.

The worst thing for me is how there is just this great desire to make the Cowboys the butt of the joke.

As a Yankees fan (born and raised in NY), I get the 'bandwagon jumper' label. I think the difference is that on some level, fans respect the Yankees and respected George Steinbrenner.

I think their anger towards the Yankees is really more of their anger against their favorite baseball team who doesn't spend the money (Steinbrenner was actually one of the league's least wealthy owners, he was just a marketing genius who demanded to buy the very best). I am fully confident that if the Yankee Haters team out-spent the Yankees, they would love every minute of it.

With the Cowboys, there is no respect on any level for Jerry Jones.

And again, a lot of it ties with the media. Particularly ESPN. Anytime something happens, ESPN has to present it as a way to take a shot at the Cowboys. And sports fans jump right in.

As far as the bandwagon part goes, I think the Harris Interactive polls show quite clearly that the Cowboys are one of the least bandwagon teams in the NFL. Meanwhile, they show that the Steelers and Patriots have largely a bandwagon fanbase. It's kind of that nasty truth that nobody wants to acknowledge.

You only get bandwagon fans when you're winning. The Pats and Steelers have more than we do.

The hardest part is having to endure the lean times.
Then I think about how long Cubs fans have gone without a title and it makes me feel better. Sorry Cubbies.;)

There's no real research needed to be done. Its a colloquialism, sure.. but its still given acknowledgement as a word used in speech.

And that is why we embrace the hate bro!

I love it. I love knowing that all of Commander Nation is miserable at our very existence. Combine that with the fact that we own you guys and have for years. Im a happy man just thinking of the misery that the Blue Star causes all of you.

You will never be as good us.

You will never have the respect that we have.

You will never have the fans worldwide that we have.

You will never have the class that we have.

You will always be the lil red headed step child compared to us and that just drives all of you crazy. And puts a great big smile on my face!

You hate us because you want oh so bad to be as good as us - and you know in your vain little Commander world it will never ever be!

Boom, there it is. Although Commanders fans will never, ever admit it.

Even if only half of it is true the resulting inferiority complex is priceless. :D
