That's actually funny. Because most of us know that Dak is a lifetime choker and will continue to choke. See how that works?

If you actually stood by Romo like you claimed, you wouldn't have made the bolded statement (unless you're speaking in hindsight rather than your thoughts at that time). It's better to say the truth: Whether Romo choked or not in 2016 didn't matter because it wasn't the QB that lost that playoff game. It was the defense. Romo could have played well and they still would have lost....just like Dak did that game. Are you saying because Dak was QB the defense lost that game but had Romo been in the defense playing the same meant Romo choked? That's how it is coming across. if so, that's extremely hypocritical. If not, you might want to clarify and I apologize for misinterpreting.

We don't know what would have happened had Romo been reinserted in 2016, but it almost surely would have resulted in the same results, a loss to the Packers due to the defense. The team was absolutely right keeping Dak in that season.

It really wasn't until his ankle injury that something happened to Dak and he turned into a choke artist.

I’m saying what we have in Dak is the same thing we had in Romo. No matter what it looks like it’s the same. Dak wasn’t always a choke artist but he is now. And I’m convinced this will always be the case until change occurs up top.

And my view of Romo Changed by 2016….to me his issues became clear when Dak came in as a rookie and took the locker room from him.

Thank you for clarifying. :) I still think the results of 2016 would have been the same regardless of which QB was in there. The defense lost that.

I think so to but people have argued me down all week for some reason that Romo would’ve overcame a bad defense.

Honestly there is probably some truth to that. Because there was a time when I was confident in him in the clutch. But now it just seems like that has changed. It would be easier to stomach if he showed this rookie season but he didn’t. Seems like it came out of nowhere.

The thing is there no proven way to this league. It’s been shown going 5-12 doesn’t result in anymore success then going 9-8….can’t hide incompetence. Gotta have a plan and structure in place.
