There is absolutely no way you bring this same team back

Why should I have to own up to that if I don't agree with it lol?

He is paid the same amount as Daniel Jones.

I've never once said he was great.

My stance on Dak has been he's a top 10 QB. You guys get triggered anytime someone defends Dak. I'm the same guy who defends Micah, same guy who defended Lamb when guys tried to argue me down he wasn't a #1....I defend the whole team...I defend the defense.....no I Told You So's on the defense. No I told You So's on Pollard....no...I gotta own up to my opinion that Dak is a top 10 QB. So what he's top 11? Top 12?
Top Ten, but he is not the QB for this team.

He said Romo was better then Dak as if todays choke job proves it but it’s whatever everyone can gloat I don’t get the satisfaction of being negative when we all lost today but aye some of us find satisfaction in losing some of us don’t.
I agree with him on the Romo/Dak thing but there is no way to really end that debate. It will rage on until Dak is gone and we can all get back to normal

But in the meantime, dealing with the present, Dak is (and has been for 8 years ) the guy and this is what he delivers in the key moments?

Believe me, that brings no satisfaction to me or @WillieBeamen I promise you.

He wants it to end. So do I. It's time

It brings satisfaction to him for sure. For some it’s better to lose with Dak because they still hold a grudge over him taking Romo’s job.

I keep hearing that Dak is a top 10 Quarterback. According to stats, some mickey mouse rankings, personal opinion......

Who cares what his ranking is. You can't win a Super Bowl with him. He's not good enough because he hasn't been good enough and there is no evidence anyone can point to that shows he makes any kind of difference at all when it matters the most. No running game, receivers, defense. He makes 40 million a year. He should be the difference that leads this team above some of its shortcomings. Man we had 16 points going into the 4th quarter with 7 points given to them with a pick six. That's unacceptable. It didn't matter what the defense did.

I'd cut him. Package Parsons with high end draft picks and move up in the draft for Drake Maye and start to get serious about this position.

More likely, there are some who will go to no end to give Dak the benefit of the doubt to justify not going back to Romo once he was healthy in 2016.

I mean honestly, I can't think of a QB in NFL history (let alone cowboy history) where there has been such an obvious effort to prop up a guy that clearly doesn't have it. How many coaches, coordinators, wr's, rb's, etc have been sacrificed in his altar?

People keep hoping that if somehow Dak just gets hot for 3 or 4 games in January it will somehow vindicate the decision in '16. That's what this Dak slobbering is really about

Those of us who have moved on just want to see this team get to the top. Don't be mad at us for proclaiming what everyone sees, but not all have the integrity to admit.

They will do nothing much, just move on from some position coaches though Dan probably leaves anyway.

You could've made the argument had they made it to the NFC Championship.....maybe even if they won today and lost next week. But there is no argument for you to bring this same team back and quite frankly, you could argue you should probably rebuild or retool it. No way in hell you can bring it back. There's no argument for it. Especially after the 49ers smack them up next week it will just be further proof how far away your product is.
There are several players and coaches that need to be shown the door. Jerry needs to step down as GM. That won't happen. Hardly any of what needs to be done will happen. We might get a new HC or OC or DC. One or two players -might- not be brought back, but the ones that keep taking paychecks and not showing that need to go will be kept.

The team needs a blowup. We need a rebuild. Jerry won't do that and frankly I'm not sure I'd trust any rebuild where Jerry is constantly involved. His culture is infectious and detrimental to on-the-field postseason success. At this point, I think more players need to go than need to be kept given what we witnessed these past few years.

Has Jerry ever blown up a team? Don't think he has. The triplets slowly dissolved over time. Irvin having his career cut short in 1999. Aikman the next year after too many concussions. Emmitt not longer after that. Then we wandered the desert for a little. Went and got Testaverde and Bledsoe. Lucked into Romo because Quincy got arrested. He became our starter for a decade after Parcells finally had enough of Bledsoe after a MNF interception.

Romo injuries lead to Dak, who they also luck into similar to Romo. Neither were on the roster to be a long time starter. Both were thrown in unexpectedly but both held the fort down in terms of you were never terrible other than years they were hurt for most of it. Both Dak and Romo's careers are almost identical. Each got the 1 seed once. Both lose the first game. Both had down years, both looked like MVPs in regular season.

Jerry isn't going to go nuclear and drastically change this roster.

Run it back Jerry. These fans moan and whine every year. Yet they always come back for more and give you their money.

No question, this team is not made of great leadership. That starts with dak, he will put you in lose lose situations every big pressure game. The defense folds cause they know the offense will fold. Goes hand in hand every year.

Yeah as a Dak supporter it has nothing to do with Romo lol. Most of us know that Romo was a lifetime choker and was gonna choke again in 2016…you know how you say in 8 years you know what you have in Dak? Well yeah we kind of know what we had in Romo in even more years. An often hurt choke artist. But I stood by Romo until they got rid of him. Same goes for Dak.

The defense folds because they know the offense will fold? That sounds ridiculous lol.

He probably won’t. But it’s the best solution.

I've been saying the same thing every year. But guys like me are called pessimists and haters. You all know who we are and our statements have not changed.
You probably are a pessimist or a hater. Doesn’t mean this team is good though both can be true. This team has its issues and even in a year where they have a good team there’s an issue. When the team has this many all pros and still collectively choke it’s quite clear what the issue is.
